Mr. Markets Weekly Stock Picking Contest
Open to all who have what they think it takes!
May 3rd
Well it looks like I finally have a night where everything is right and running smoothly. Thanks again Rob for the walk thru all of this. And thanks to anyone who has helped and provide me with some of the intraday ins and outs.
The darling of the Hollywood set and our best leading man, IIC aka "MONEY BAGS"sits on top of the leaderboard looking down on the rest of us condescendly lip curled in a sneer wondering what would it be like if I had a third pick here to further feather my lead. His two picks exhausted he now is at the mercy of CRH. SIRTUCK is just that. He was heard wandering around the markets today mumbling something like, "I'm tuck in my 2nd pick and I can't get out of my trade or my armor. What I would do for a 3rd pick even if I had to pay a token for it. STKYTREAT, a young hipster from out west came in bold and brazen toting a short play that still has plenty of gas in the tank and his 2nd pick is still alive. Can you beat being young, good looking, ok I take that back, and a great speller, ok I really take that one back, and in 3rd place coming into the home stretch with all your ammo intact. This is going to be a good one tomorrow. But! There is someone lurking in the shadows of a very STRONG late day earnings report
with his 185's all waxed and ready to glide into a serious challenge for the top spot. In the meantime here is tonites top 3 in order of finish.
1st Place: IIC: +5.75 %
2nd Place: Sirtuck: +4.73 %
3rd Place: STKYTREAT: +3.36 %
and the chart:

Probably several here who would have volunteered to help make your day complete.
I was kidding around with Stenzrob's post. You said that you had enjoyed two out of the three that River spoke of. We were wondering what two. I would have bet on wine and sex as opposed to wine and food or food and sex. Who can enjoy making love on a full stomach. So wine and sex would have been my assumption.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Might be to late after yesterday's earnings report was released but ONT had a strong qtr. and a strong earnings report. Looks poised to make a nice move up. Believe me when I say I didn't get this pick from Kramer in any fashion. Stocks been on the list at the link below for a week or two leading up to the earning report. I was in and out of it a few times and decided to hold it through the earnings report as my own reports were that they were going to post a strong qtr.
[Among tech names on the rise after the bell was Clifton Park, N.Y.-based On2 Technologies (ONT - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr - Rating), which makes video compression/decompression software. First-quarter revenue more than doubled year over year to $2.8 million, ahead of two analysts' estimates. Shares jumped 16.1% to $2.45. ]THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Ski, I just pulled up a three-month chart on ONT and was struck by similarity in the shape of that chart to a one-year chart of RMKR that I was looking at yesterday.
I hope ONT works out for you. It's always hard to know just how to play these earnings pops. Often they have a tendency to start the following day on the high and drift lower all day and continue drifting lower for days or weeks. I'm sure you've seen it. On the other hand, sometimes they just keep going ang going. The $64k question of course is: How can you tell which it's going to do?—Rob

For the week beginning Monday May 7
Ski,
I am going out of town today and I will not be able to get to this site.
So, for the week beginning Monday May 7, please put me in CA$H.
Thanks for all of your "scorekeeping" hard work.
