That a good close look at River's avatar. I don't want to appear to shallow but wouldn't that avatar merit at least a few percentage points. Put a great personality along with that and it's got to be worth at least 8 or 9 percentage points wouldn't you agree. Anyway I got caught in the act so I fixed her score. It will be right in tonights scoresheet.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

MR. MARKETS WEEKLY STOCK PICKING CONTEST
OPEN TO ALL WHO THINK THEY MAY HAVE WHAT IT TAKES!!
MAY 18, 2007
Standing in front of his favorite mirror, the full length one that hung on the inside of his bedroom closet door, PEANUTS could hardly contain the smile that broke out across his entire face. He turned sideways, his favorite view, and tensed his pectoral and tricep muscles. The guinnie T was almost form fitting and overly emphasized his pecs and tricep muscles. He was the MAN and no one could dispute that this week. Anyone that thought or prayed his 2nd pick would tank and leave an opening leading to the top spot this week could wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one filled up first. CAS took care of that and all the naysayers. NUMERO UNO. That was his this week and everyone knew it.
PETE HANSEN had that same feeling for about 24 hours. He knew how it felt having claimed the top spot on other weeks. But it wasn't to be his this week and he was totally depressed. So close. He probably would run into PEANUTS at one of the local gin mills tonight and would have to listen to him gloat over who was the best stock picker in Pittsburg over and over and over again. He decided to stay home instead of going out. He wasn't going to give PEANUTS the pleasure. Still in all 2nd place wasn't all that bad he thought. Somewhere down deep inside he knew that was a terrible rationalization.
In another part of the city SIRTUCK had taken his armor suit off and was rubbing a gleaming mirror like shine into the metal before taking his LADYTUCK out on the town. As he rubbed and rubbed he honed the metal into a glistening polished finish that drove his LADYTUCK into a frenzy of passion and desire. I just love it when you win SIR. I get so excited watching you polish your suit. Like PETE HANSEN they decided they would rather stay at home tonight. But their scenario would be completely different than PETE'S. SIRTUCK wondered if the LADYTUCK would ever realize that there was a difference between 1st and 3rd place. The 4th place finisher, SKIRACER, like PETE HANSEN, had just won the previous week and knew the feeling of finishing on top of the leader board. And as he rolled a big fatty the diameter of a hand rolled Cubano and dipped the end of it in his two fingers of Gran Marnier, before lighting up knew he also wouldn't be going anywhere tonight except to the couch where he would lapse off into a deep comfortable sleep and dream of that last race at Mammouth Mountain and that woman whose name he still could not remember. Another week another contest. All was well in POTWland.
AND OUR LEADERS PLEASE:
1ST: PEANUTS + 7.74 %
2ND: PETE HANSEN + 6.19 %
3RD: SIRTUCK + 5.01
Thanks to everyone who participated this week and made it another great success for the MM STOCK PICKING CONTEST! See ya'll next week same time same place.

Pick
Rob believes IMCL's woes over the past week have been exacerbated, at least in part, due to some manipulation by large players who stood to lose a lot of their shares on the exercise of May $40 call options. Rob further believes IMCL next week will regain at least a considerable portion of its losses this week. Therefore Rob will take IMCL long once again.—Rob

Thanks for the acknowledgements guys. Having been able to sling the shit with the best of them since I was a kid I love doing this and it just flows out. Where it comes from I don't know. When I was in the service we would be deep in the jungle and at night the guys in my squad would beg me to make up a story to pass the time. I would fill their ears until they had to beg me to stop. I think it is heriditary. My dad is good at it also.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR
