Week 10 - Weekly Results
Week 10 - Fishing Tournament
Day 5 - "All fishermen and fishernonmen please report to the judging table"
We all heard the stories about the fish that was so big it couldn't be pulled to shore... and about the one so ugly that it scared a fisherman out of his boat... oh, and how about the one that was part of the fossil record?!?!? Who would have thought that any of these fish tales could be topped? Well, guess what?
Peter Hansen shows that he is a man of the sea, and knows how to bait a hook. And for that, he earns the title of, Master Baiter this week. This is the monstrosity that won it for him:
Not to be too out-shined, this awesome Alligator Gar brought Let-it-ride second place:
Bringing in a beauty, and third place is Stenzrob with a super sturgeon:
Unfortunately, we had one player never return to the booth. We're not sure exactly what happened, but Jeisen was laying claims that he could have taken first place if he had landed a behemoth bass. He said it was the size of a rhino, and meaner than toll booth worker. It's odd that sirtuck was fishing for bass and he's the one that never returned... Maybe Jiesen wasn't telling us tales... Jeisen, did it look like this?
Hide not your talents.
They for use were made.

We're supposed to explain our picks if we get into the top three, so ...
Most of my gain this week came from SCLD, a little turnaround that I've been following. Dropped on a big trade and I figured it might bounce a bit. I'm still waiting to get back in it for real. Then I went to QID, an ultrashort ETF, due to my well-documented belief that the correction triggered by the China Syndrome is not over. It wasn't good for much this week.
I will start the next week in $CASH$.
Congrats to Peter and Let-It_Ride on some great timely picks.
regards ... stenz

Thanks for the great and entertaining scorekeeping, Peanuts! While I'm thinking about it, you might as well start me in CA$H next week.
UCTT was looking real nice this morning, then <raspberry sound>.
Oh yeah .... and congrats to the medalists, and to Karel for achieving his goal of finishing 4th!—Rob
