I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Well, IMCL long still looks good to me. In fact, the DMI indicator just turned positive for the first time sine June, so the technicals are starting to look good too.

As you all undoubtedly know, the U.S. stock markets are closed today for the Labor Day Holiday. Therefore, the deadline for entry this week has been moved back 24 hours to 3:59 p.m. on Tuesday.
The two remaining market holidays this year are Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 22) and Christmas (Tuesday, Dec. 25).
Another fun and fantastic contest this week. Thanks Rob! Keep up the great work that you do. It is much appreciated.
Riverbabe, if there was one person that I wouldn't mind losing my top spot to, it would be you. Congrats on the #1 spot.
Jiesen, you sniffed out a great pick this week... congrats on stealing even more glory from me. Looking at your avatar and thinking of this week, I'm reminded of the book, Who Moved My Cheese
Thanks for the congratulatory messages from everyone... this "opposite" approach really seems to be working.
I'm going to stick with my opposite approach this week as well. Rob, please give me ZANElong at the opening bell. Thanks! btw: are you changing the entry deadline to 1 minute prior to the opening bell, rather than 2 minutes prior to the closing bell?

Rob,
I think you meant to write 3:59 PM ala rule #1:
#1 To participate in the contest, enter your stock pick (long or short) or enter a cash position, between the close of trading on the last day of the trading week and no later than 3:59 p.m. Eastern on the first day of the next trading week. If you fail to state either "long" or "short" (or "buy" or "sell") on your pick, then your pick will default to a long position.
