          JADE - for day 2

The Rev notes that JADE gapped up to start the day yesterday and then slowly faded offering up some good entry points.( This kind of action is fairly typical the first day of trading his pick. RB)

He also notes that the stock ticked up into the close and continues to be set up very well for further upside. He bought some shares on the dip yesterday and "will now give the trade some room to work."

JADE report, after close on Wednesday

The Shark reports "JADE, our Stock of the Week, opened weak on the softness in Asia but climbed steadily higher all day on good volume. The stock finished up 65 cents on the day and looks poised to test recent highs. We will continue to hold a position and give the trade further time to work."

                    JADE from Thursday night

I got too busy to pay attention to JADE yesterday. Doug, I hope you fared well.

According to the Rev, JADE traded in a volatile manner yesterday and ended the day down just 12 cents after a much deeper dip (hope somebody caught it). He ends with his stock phrase, "the stock contains (sic) to look good technically and we will continue to hold shares and give the trade time to work."

                          FARO Technologies - June 4_07

In spite of the fact that the fly fishers, trollers and pole-in-the-water with the juicy worm on the hook at the end of the line fisher-peoples, who inhabit this $$HUGE$$ forum, had no trouble catching some good looking keepers this week, the Shark had problems. Might be hard for some to feel sorry for him, but ya know, this poor guy was probably struggling and losing sleep all weekend over this, so we will be kind.

Anyway he came up with the following:

"It was very tough to find a good stock that was not was technically extended. After some hunting [you sees? you should have been fishing, not hunting] we did find one that is setup quite nicely. Our Stock of the Week is Faro Technologies, Inc (FARO). FARO is a leading manufacturer of 3D measuring devices that are used in a wide variety of applications from forensic investigation to construction."

[RB disclosure:This one almost tripped me up when I was trying to post this last night. And I had to get up out of my nice warm snuggly bed to fire up the computer again and delete the post! Darn! Learn from me please: this company is NOT to be confused with FARO Industries (privately held) or with FERRO Corp. (a good Cleveland company)]

Back to the Rev, he says that, "In its most recent quarter the company posted earnings of 22 cents versus consensus estimates of 16 cents. The company is expected to grow earnings 105% in 2007 to $1.15 and another 31% in 2008."

"Technically the stock is set up extremely well for an assault [RB: now that's a pretty strong word to be using, so there MUST be some hope here]on its all time highs just under $35. We would not chase a gap up open but would be buyers on a close over 34 on above average volume." [Rev, honey, have you been reading my posts?? ]

                              FARO new information important

This is a little discouraging if you decided to try out FARO (I didn't but that doesn't mean you didn't)

This is the Shark report tonight: "FARO, our Stock of the Week, was hit by an analyst downgrade, based on valuation, prior to the open this morning. The stock attempt to bounce back but the uncooperative broad market provide to be an issue. The stock is still in good shape technically and we’ll give it a bit more time to prove itself but we’ll keep a tight stop in place and not let it fall too much before we move on."

I personally will not lose any sleep over this. Hope you don't either. Riverbabe
