The stock looks good for some short gains .........Good Luck! Stay tuned I am trying to come up with some good GOLD and OIL stocks for Monday. If the Day of Rage Is successful on March 13th in Saudi Arabia , and the revolutionists mange to gain some traction ......oil will go ballistic.
China has the Jasmine Revolution but the Communist Chinese are not going to take this BS sitting down . Already many of the Jasmine leaders have "MYSTERIOUSLY" disappeared.
The Arabian leaders are practicing similar policies .......screw all that freedom of speech stuff.......money talks and BS walks, and the Saudi's will spare no expense to quell any pending insurrection.

I saw an article on Yahoo News that China now spends more money on "MANAGING" their own people than on defense. I think we all know what that means. And Saudi Arabia hasn't been much better. I think they clamp down on their citizens more than China due to their strict compliance to Sharia Law. I'm very thankful to have been born here.

But if Oil ever hits the open market like Gold, we could be in a lot of trouble. Oil has been used as a political weapon for decades, which has kept its price down. Because of higher oil prices and our perceived reliance on foreign oil, we started using more land for ethanol, which has contributed to higher food prices (We are the global leader in wheat exports), which in turn has led to revolution in the Middle East and thus higher oil prices. So oil would be good to own. And as oil goes higher, I'm sure we'll be hearing about alternative energy a lot again. So not only could oil companies be good to look at, but also fertilizers and solar energy. Just my thoughts on the subject.

About Gold, for the past few years we've been inundated with people wanting to buy your gold. A good sign that gold could be starting to go down will be when everyone wants to sell you gold, and I've noticed a lot of gold merchants advertising to sell gold. Or it could be me researching gold so now the web it streamlining gold advertisements to me.

China clamps down on its people because it is a party dictatorship. Saudi Arabia clamps down on its people because it is a monarchic dictatorship. The Sharia does not come in, except as a tool to dress up the dictatorship (look, we're good muslims!). I have no way to decide between China and Saudi Arabia on this point, like information on relative numbers of political prisoners and such.

Apart fom te fact that "Sharia" is an unclear term, because muslims disagree about it enormously, the Sharia once was an honourable attempt at a law system that would govern everyone, ruler and ruled alike. It still deserves credit, even if from a modern viewpoint it contains rules and principles that are out of date.

Daffy Ghadafy appears to be establishing dominance over the rebels....and the US is now talking about a "No Fly Zone" ..who knows what the hell will happen .....If Tranquility is restored to the area OIL and GOLD will drop in price, however I think we are good to go for the rest of the week.

Yesterday was a tough day , my picks came up cold, but I still feel that the metals will come back today. Oil , because of Libyia , is so very difficult to call . Too many rumors about Ghadafy , and the oil price is all over the map. Dan Amoss seems to indicate that ZAGG books may be "Cooked", and they have to file their annual report by March 15,2011 .....gee Isn't that when Julius Caeser took some cold steel into the ribs.......the Ides of March !
