    Another Chinese Market Meltdown soon??

Marty Chenard has issued a special warning to subscribers about the Shanghai 180 Index. The monthly chart is now showing the same pattern it did right before the Feb. 27th meltdown. If the chart pattern prediction is followed, there should be another Shanghai meltdown the middle of next week that could affect the US markets again.

    Beware! And be aware! Riverbabe

I just did a quick bit of research and I see that the SSE180 mirrors the price action in the $SSEC, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index, and the $DJSH, DJ Shanghai Index. Someone let me know if this mirroring is false. Anyone got some charts for SSE180?

Anyway, the $DJSH chart shows it's in quarterly 3 impulse up, due 4 down then 5 up.... so not sure about the "meltdown" warning...

Reason to fear a meltdown? Well, while the 4 down will be impulsive ... and may well affect US markets .... I think the word "meltdown" is overstated. Semantics again maybe I'd feel more comfortable for the word "meltdown" potential warning if price were failing a fuzzy C

Anyway, below are some charts that show the wonderful and extremely bullish nature of the $SSEC lately. Ain't bullish price action somethin' t' witness!

These charts suggest the bias remains up.

OK, I found the article he published at http://www.safehaven.com/article-7338.htm
and here is the chart pattern he's talking about:

Yeah, the SS180 will likely correct at some stage soon from its impulsive action. But I think it's important to remember that the bigger January SS180 correction didn't affect the US markets.

I'm still a bull lookin' fer INDU 12800.

He put the chart up for subscribers only and cautioned us not to publish it, so I didn't. But I thought his analysis was right on the money, if the last chart follows the same trajectory as the chart right before it. This may not be a doomsday scenario, but I think we need to be very aware that it could happen and be ready to take action proactively! Of course, it all depends on what the action is over the next three days.

          China market update

This is the latest update from Marty Chenard. I'm just the messenger! Riverbabe

Tuesday, April 17th. Last week, reported on the extremely unusual China pattern that appears to be repeating. Last night was day 4 outside of the rectangle and if it does a 100% repeat, then the Shanghai 180 will fall tomorrow.

We won't know for sure if the pattern will repeat for sure, but last night, the Shanghai 180 closed with a bearish Doji candlestick ... see this link for the chart and update: China The implication, if this happens, is that the world markets could follow the same direction. We will know tomorrow.

A drop on the Shanghai 180 did not happen yesterday. BUT the session ended with a dragonfly doji. The day before ended with a doji star.

Double dojis, folks. Something is going to happen tomorrow in China! Let's hope it's an up move.

Stocks: Fall Sharply In Morning On Bearish Dollar

TOKYO (Kyodo)--Tokyo stocks fell sharply Thursday morning with investors dumping high-tech and other export-focused issues on the weaker U.S. dollar against the yen.

Not sure if that's what you're looking for. But it's an intraday chart of the Hang Seng Index.

Does this mean that US markets are about to do the same? I personally doubt it, but have been wrong on various things before.

                            Repost from IIC Thread

I am trying something tonight...I have put charts up of the Hang Seng, Nikkei, Taiwan Composite and the Shezhen SSE up at my site.

I want to see if they will come up Real Time during Asia Market Hours...Take a look later. If they are Real Time you would have to click refresh to update them as they are not streamers.

So far, I have not been able to locate Real Time Shanghai SSE charts..Delayed are easy to find though.

The charts are posted at the bottom of this page:

                            Example Time Zones:

                            Los Angeles 5pm Thursday
                            Chicago 7pm Thursday
                            New York 8pm Thursday
                            Tokyo 9am Friday
                            China 8am Friday

EDIT: Just checked...Nikkei is working...other markets not open yet
