We have quite a few more CwH's and PoI's this week...However, as you will see, there are many "V" shaped patterns vis-a-vis the PREFERRED rounded cup...This is due to the volatility we experienced in August.

Maybe I'll call the "V" shaped patterns....Vases w/ Handles.

As you know, I post little 1 yr charts of each stock...You may have to click the little charts to view a larger chart to see the pattern on some. I run my scans using 1 year charts but sometimes I run across some where you have to look at a longer term chart...This week you will have to look at 4 or 5 yr charts to see the pattern on BYI which I found by accident and VSNT which was submitted by Billy.

SID is above the f/p...could continue...couldn't call it an official breakout because the vol. wasn't high enough today but it looks nice Peanuts.

JRJC broke out after trying yesterday and I still like SGMO.

We added WDC to our CwH list today.

I wasn't around much today but it looks like a lot of those on our lists did extremely well today...Now the key will be "How many continue"?

CFSG continues cwh b/o and BIDU is breaking out today

In BIDU 9/6 @ 215.22. Before I went out to breakfast yesterday, put in a sell limit stop for an "unlikely" 234.14. (+8.9%) Got back an hour later and it had filled and went on up from there. Nuts! But a gain is still good. River

Ends up the volume was not up to breakout standards but I got it as I posted on my thread as intraday support held in the 11.70's on a p/b...I got it in the 11.80's

Just too many breakouts this week...I hate when that happens...I'm serious...When there are too many it is too hard to choose.

I did get some FRM pre-b/o...It is not the most thrilling stock but so far so good.

Doug,

You've got IOM on your "Charts of Interest" list. It looks to me like cup-with-handle material.



... although there's not a whole lot of volume on the right side of the cup.
