    I agree with that corn-based ethanol is a big friggen joke. I've already posted my rant on that subject. But I'm not in agreement with many coal pushers that coal to liquids is the answer either. I think coal should go the way of the dinosaur.

    I do like the idea of any car that gets that high a mileage, but only if the exhaust is scrubbed thoroughly.

      Ethanol is a non-renewable resource. It uses more energy to make and transport than it provides.

      Compound that with the fact that refiners have shelved expansion products because the government has mandated that 20% of our gasoline pool be ethanol. If you were an oil company, would YOU invest in a business if they told you demand would drop by 20%??

      This is going to cause even more shortages of gasoline.

      Oh..did I leave out the fact that ethanol based gasoline gives you 10% fewer miles per gallon??
