Kaman Corp. (KAMN)

Does anyone like KAMN as a short-term pick? It has a PE = 24, EPS = 1.47 (70% EPS growth Qtr vs. Qtr), avg daily vol is increasing significantly recently, and although sales growth has been 10% Yr vs. Yr, share price is on a pretty sharp rise comparitively (except for the past 2 days, but that seemed to happen to a lot of stocks).

Fundamentally speaking, they look pretty diversified, supplying products to the Aerospace Defense industry (I think I read somewhere they won a big contract with Sikorsky recently), as well as inudstrial & commercial products. They just appear to be a pretty solid company, and it seems a lot of analysts give it a buy/strong buy rating, but I trust this community more. Has anyone looked at this one, or maybe even own it? Do you see any pitfalls?

KAMN has made it through some of my screens over the last year, but currently scares the heck out of me when I look at the weekly chart as it may be maxing out temporarily. We still have 2 days left in this week, so anything is possible, but buying a pullback shouldn't be a bad idea.

In a longer term perspective, this should be a solid company as long as they continue to perform. Barron suggests that it is ripe for a takeover, and I concur. There is no option chain, so that may keep some people from investing in it.

A quick search on here indicates that KAMN has never shown up in one of my data dumps. So for one reason or another, it wasn't picked up on any of my screens.

Having said that, I like the chart, its valuation and revenue growth, so it looks pretty good to me.
