RIMM earnings are due out OCT 4.

Just so you know.

My plan is to play an options spread on RIMM. Whatever it does, I think it'll do it in a hurry and in a big way. Bought the $110 call for $0.97 already. Now looking for a put play, perhaps the $90 put, perhaps the $80. Don't know just yet.

hey skiracer,,,never said RIMM was a short but i definately wouldnt be buying it here...the stock is holding price but volume isnt where it should be...its not a short here but not a buy either ....the risk reward isnt there....im pretty much out of the market right now other than some TWM and i have some AAPL october 135 puts.......im thinking the market will tank next week regardless of what they announce..hold rates, cut .25 basis point or even .5 basis point....if they cut bigger then u may get a boost in the markets but i doubt that will happan...

he was correct on the volume call but the stock was up 8.35 last week alone and from the beginning of August is way up. the short side call wouldn't have worked out for either the stock or the markets. i still like it to the upside although institutional ownership has shown some recent selling and downside. the call option a week or two ago would have been a nice play. I would be interested in hearing what you, or ninner, think of it from this point forward.

First of all...You need to change your moniker..."Peanuts" just doesn't cut it.

Thank You...But I am not the best...I just try to offer something that I hope many might find useful...Whether it is data/info or opinion....I also try to add a little humor here and there... I guess because I'm known as a pretty funny guy to those that know me personally...I've been a funny guy since I was in elementary school.

I really enjoy hearing from all and probably 98%+ is positive...But there will always be people who want to knock you down...It really doesn't bother me...I usually feel a bit sorry for them.
