Still holding. Sold 1 call Oct 95 (9.30), sold 1 call Oct 100 (4.30). So am good to 104+. Hope I don't have to buy them back. Considering buying puts also. Will let you know. River

P.S. See "newborn", New-born Baby's post at 12:11 AM today.

RIMM SHOULD****SHOULD****be good for $129. However, there is great danger in holding RIMM through earnings. Best think that one through very carefully. RIMM may rocket to $150, or it may dump to $70. I am going to play the options on it. Sold my 300 RIMM Monday for $95.33. Will enter an options play next week. This week I am out of town and unable to make any trades.

Davie, what's up is I am in town (in Waterloo Ontario) and RIM is going all out to impress me! I have limited internet access and can't trade it even if I would want to. (At least this time you called me Riverboat, not like what you called me the last time LOL and I had to ask you what you had in mind! Remember?) LOL Riverbabe.

RIMM should go to $125. But have you taken 50% off the table to ensure a profit? Or here's a play: BUY the $115 NOV CALL and SELL the $120 NOV CALL. For $215 risk you gain $500 or net profit of $285 IF RIMM is $120 on NOV expiry.

RIMM shot up today on AAPL news. Nothing to do with any fundamental change at RIMM; just a sympathy reaction to AAPL blowout earnings. AAPL will set up for a pullback to $186 in three days. I suppose AAPL will hit $195 before the pullback, perhaps $199. RIMM: probably the same scenario. But I am bullish on RIMM. RIMM has about two more up days, then a pullback to $120 or $121 before proceeding higher. If you still own it, you are doing just fine.

Price target? Well, have you taken any profits off the table at all? If not, I'd suggest taking some, and putting a stop under the rest so you can't lose. Perhaps take half off the table soon, and let the other half run. 1st target: $130 in the next two days. Second target: $120+/-. Ultimate target: $163.

If Asia crashes, RIMM gets hammered, too.
Both RIMM and AAPL are way overbought and overpriced. But hey, ride the momo and enjoy the ride. Just remember to get off before the train stops.

Good going, Dave. I am looking for RIMM to hit $200 in a year. There will be some shaking between now and then, but RIMM is on the move. Just think: I paid $73.42 for 300 shares about six weeks ago . . . .

Hi Davie. Mine got called away, as expected. Looking to buy more when I get back from Canada and can get into the internet trading desk on Monday. You're doing good! Tomorrow I am going to take pictures of the actual 20 Research in Motions buildings about a mile from where I am and will post them here. (Now that you're a rich man, I definitely want to keep in touch with you!) heheheh. Riverbabe

Don't forget the options chain Dave. $118.91 is pretty close to a support, although I think RIMM moves down some more before she moves higher. Best profits to you!
