I am busy studying options for ELN ...Biogen is about to be sold and Elan will either sell its 50% of the MS drug Tysabri, or the market will clearly know what Elan's 50% is worth. Either way its a HUGE win for ELN


I am calling Elan much higher in the next 12 months ! and if they file for the AD drug ...it could be much sooner$$$$$$$$$

Well I must say that I have been spending a lot more time on football and wrestling than the markets. But everyone should be allowed a little time off. Be assured I will be back in full force some day.

Hey, Gerihearne PM'd me not too long ago and we had a great conversation. I think it's just the time of year. Everybody is way too busy. And the market has been so scary. It's not you guys or me (I hope) either. And I think it's really just temporary. Bring in a strong bull & I think everybody will be excited and willing to invest and TALK again. JMHO. (i.e., blame it on the market).

As for me, I've adapted a buy and hold type strategy. I haven't really been watching the day to day action as much. I still read the board almost every day though...

I've been pretty busy, and haven't been back as often. That darn work stuff, sheesh it takes up so much free time.

I would suspect that people aren't posting because of the holidays and general market turmoil. and anybody that doesn't think there's turmoil is delusional.

This real estate/mortgage tumor we've got growing isn't going to get killed off any time soon, nor is it done spreading.

Much more pain to come I'm afraid. I've got a lot of cash on the sidelines right now.
