It was a very strong week for the market, but unfortunately it didn’t really reflect that much in our picks. There was also little change in our leaderboard, except for the swapping of positions for our 2nd and 3rd place picks. The new order of things is Massimo’s ACMIF in 1st, Mr. Market’s BE in 2nd, and JohnHenry’s RIOT in 3rd. Here’s hoping future gains in the market translate into bigger gains for our picks.

Kind of another “meh” week for the market as the NASDAQ and S&P were slightly up and the Dow slightly down. As a result, there were no changes on our leaderboard. Masimmo’s ACMIF remains in 1st, followed by Mr. Market’s BE in 2nd, and JohnHenry’s RIOT in 3rd. I have to say that this is one of the least volatile PotY contests we’ve had. Kudos to the leaders for their steady, successful picks.

I think the fact that we're 'meh' at around a 7800 S&P when the all-time high is 7816 is saying something.... what it says, I'm not sure. But definitely it's a thing. My guess is in a few months we'll know what that thing is.

Sorry, but I’ve been negligent in posting updated standings. Been dealing with a few things. Anyway, here are the latest standings.

It was another week of the market drifting down, but it had no effect on our leaderboard. Massimo’s ACMIF remains solidly in 1st, followed by Mr. Market’s BE in 2nd, and JohnHenry’s RIOT IN 3rd. Before you know it, we’ll be in October, and the stretch run will begin. Give that pick a little giddyup.

There was a little divergence in the market this week as the Dow showed a lot of weakness. I’m not quite sure what to make of it, but I would certainly prefer it if all three indexes were showing signs of strength. None of it had any effect on our picks as the order remained as follows: Massimo’s ACMIF in 1st, Mr. Market’s BE in 2nd, and JohnHenry’s RIOT in 3rd. I think I see the final turn just up ahead so stay the course.
