I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Doug maintains a solid lead with LL, followed by other fine picks by Webs, peanuts, Rob and Karel- the regular top 5 around here. Great job guys, in a very tough week. People are throwing up their hands in dismay, taking a breather from this market- and turning off their monitors in hopes that it'll make the bad ticker stop. But don't panic. In another two days, this nightmare of a week will be over. Greener days are ahead, says the fed.
Doug claims victory this short week, scoring a double-touchdown with the double-L. Rounding out the top 5 are Webs, Rob, Karel, and Spikefader, with his last-minute but well-timed pick. Congrats to all the greenies this week, as it was a tough one- with shorts and longs alike getting creamed by the markets!
Congrats Doug, Webs, Rob (IMCL Forever!) on a great week.
My week was lousy; only River's was worse, and she had a bad week only in that she took my advice and shorted JPM! So sorry River; it shouldn't happen to nice people like you. Ski was too savvy to take my advice . . . my congrats to him.
Thanks, Recently-delivered Infant. It was a pretty good week for ol' IMCL, wasn't it? Can't wait to see the numbers from the FLEX lung cancer trial to be publicized in June. Early indications are that the numbers are at least good enough to warrant significant off-label use, and maybe good enough for a new indication on the label.
Anywhoo ... I've already picked the egregiously oversold GOOG on the super-fantastic Pick o' the Week contest, so I'll play PVHlong this week over here on this one.
