Hags...Great job...You asked for suggestions tho...I'd like to offer one, altho if it is too difficult it is no biggee:

Is it possible to sort the results descending from Best to Worst???

Thanks for taking on the scorekeeping task...We all appreciate it...

              ... and for next week

I will take IMCL long once again. It held up quite well in the wake of a horrible earnings report. People following the developments with this company are convinced it's getting ready to take off.

                Hags,
I have no original ideas so I'll take V long. Thanks

                    Long EXM!

                    Thanks everyone for the congratulations!

I am still long EXM; go EXM!

But if somebody could please explain what happened to the price of QMAR, from half December, when I bought it just under $26, through January 22nd, when it dropped to $12 during the day, up until now, when according to the "$13 + .3979*EXM" formula it would have been valued at over $30 a share? It is that I already am older and wiser, or I would certainly have become it as a result of this fascinating development.

                    Regards,

                    Karel

                      Karel,
Those darn no-brainer deals never seem to work out, but I'm confused did or did not the QMAR deal give you a premium for your shares?

I agree with Doug. A simple sort of the spreadsheet would go a long way to making it easier to see who came in 2nd, 3rd etc. Aside from that, the job you're doing is fantastic, and I appreciate the obvious effort you're making to run a top-notch POTW. Thanks so much for taking the reins, hags, and keep it up!

The value of EXM then meant something like $24.40 (cash and shares combined) as buy-out price, so in my books I took a small loss. With EXM in rocket mode (EXM gained something like 56% since then, which translates to over 25% for QMAR), EXM was the (hidden) premium. I am still holding in real money too.

                          Regards,

                          Karel

I am afraid this spreadsheet will not be an easy one to sort, as each player can get several rows. (And on reflection, I don't see totals; is that correct?)

                            Regards,

It wouldn't be too difficult to add a temporary, add'l column for totals. In the case of those with two rows, simply enter the same total in both rows. Then sort the table in descending order on the values in the totals column. Those players occupying two rows will still have their two rows next to each other. And then just delete the totals column. TaDaaa!
