When I look at your first post to cover NM it says the post time was 9:20 a.m., which for me is CST, but for the market it's actually 10:20 a.m. since the market is EST...so the price of the bouncing ball on the interactive chats at Google show the 10:20 a.m. price at $13.60....so that's your exit price. Next I pull up the chart for VIT and do the same, the 10:20 a.m. price was $10.07 which is your new entry price.
You next post time is 11:56 a.m.......wait....now all the times just changed back an hour...so your first post now says you posted at 8:20 a.m....so now when I go to the Google chart to fix the time vs. price I can't get a price at 9:20 a.m. which would be EST...The first price I can get the ball to stop on is $13.73 at 9:32 a.m....which is 13 minutes after your post time???....anyway, this has been going on every time someone intraday trades in POTW....for some reason I see an initial post time and later on it changes by an hour....I thought the times I see are adjusted to my time zone??

For reference...this post right here has a post time of 3:07 p.m.....what time do you see on your end?

My post was prior to the market open. So, I get opening prices for both NM and VIT, if you deem that to be a fit approach. Furthermore, my closing price was 11:57 EST. The prices which I have posted are accurate as per Yahoo! Finance.

Not here to change the rules...But according to the Time and Sales Tape (which does not necessarilly show every single trade) NM opened with a 200 share trade at 9:30.06 at 13.56.
VIT opened at 10.94 at 9:30.04... 475 shares...Two seconds before NM's first trade.
Then there were 3 trades on VIT at 9:32.30. 400shs 10.75... 300shs 10.75... 9400shs 10.70."Trade What Is Happening...Not What You Think Is Gonna Happen"

Hags...when you posted at 3:07 it came up as 1:07 my time(Pacific)
When I am at the chats I always state EST or EDT.
Peanuts post at 9:20am EDT showed 6:20am on my computer...I've never had the time switch on me at this forum....Doug
PS: I don't understand why we use Yahoo prices here...They make alot of mistakes...Guess you need to use something...But if I were King we'd use the exchanges themselves or the Time and Sales Tape...But since there is no prize money involved it really doesn't make that much difference anyway....Even the Time and Sales Tape cannot catch them all...Especially on non-NYSE/AMEX issues...The Naz and .ob's trade in different places and the T&S cannot catch all trades...I remember a few years ago when I bot a Naz stock at the market and the price I paid was higher than the official hod."Trade What Is Happening...Not What You Think Is Gonna Happen"

Also...not that it has anything to do with the contest...I never use "All or None"...Many of my buys/sells register as 3 to 8+ trades....Only have to pay one commish unless you cancel and enter another order...But to someone reading the tape they really don't know how many shares were bot/sld in one order...Doug"Trade What Is Happening...Not What You Think Is Gonna Happen"

5/5 - 5/9 Results
Here's the official chart....less anymore time disputes....
I didn't think it possible to over take Doug this week, but Peanuts used the power of gravitation ie:....what goes up, must come down....and pulled out an amazing win....Congrats to all the greenies....another week of impressive results....except for our newest member MotherLoad......we may need to borrow him some lunch money....

Thanks for all that you do...
Here's the gig....when I'm logged in I'm on CST, when I'm logged out I'm on EST, which is probably what the board is set at since Mr. M is on EST...Now that I know that, I can figure out what time to use for stock prices depending on my log in status.....
Here's a picture to show the difference using Peanuts post with me logged in and logged out...Note the time change in the corner...
The prices which I have posted are accurate as per Yahoo! Finance.
Either way, you kicked our butts this week and the high percentage of whoopa$$ is noted...thanks for the lesson too...
