I screened your dump through my MrMarket screener and returned 4 stocks. In order of highest to lowest based on Price Appreciation and Price Appreciation / P/e : UGP, TD, BCE, T.

I like BCE the best because the stock price looks low and it has a 5% dividend and it has the lowest P / E.

I like LUNR - a $$22/shr space tech company. Even though the past few years have had some losses, the growth is off the chart... next year is supposed to show profit of 0.22, as revenues jump from $200M last year to over $900M this year.

Also, the numbers that CIEN has been putting up are astounding, and the chart reflects that. It seems a bit risky, as the whole network/AI sector is likely overheated now, but as long as we can ride it out another 3-6 weeks (the length of a quick 'excursion', right?) it should be an easy 15% right quick.

Jiesen, are we going to leave the planet on spaceships some day? Maybe our bodies are like the spaceships and we will leave them to another place some day. LUNR sounds exciting and I've long wondered what would happen if aliens showed up to rescue us one day and what would the value of the stock market be then. It sounds like you are looking for a MrMarket stock. I like to ask what something like CIEN does for money, I am coming around to the idea of data centers to power the cloud and I notice some cloud websites are working much faster these days compared to the early days. Maybe it will be a money maker as people demand more information at faster speeds, but it could be a few years down the line. That is what I think of when I think A.I. these days. Or all the companies that will be more efficient through A.I. Where is the money going to come from CIEN? That is how I'd like to picture it. Should I start looking on my own?

Communication equipment and software. They have a p/e in the hundred. They are growing earnings in the 80% range. These types of stocks are just unpredictable when the valuation is so high. Can we really rely on stock charts to predict the next 15%? What if it goes down 15% next. Charts could predict either way. It's not going to grow at 80% forever. If the p/e goes to 200 can you predict that. Or if the p/e returns to 20, will that mean huge sustainable earnings or a contraction? I'm just wondering or curious what kind of a drawdown we might see or have if one day we end buying the top high and we have to sit through something. Should we wait for earnings to catch up to stock price, and let the speculative crowd buy the stock higher, or should we try to time the crowd's buys in hopes of making 15%. I guess that is up to how much money you have and what your risk tolerance is. Jiesen you must have a very high risk tolerance. As for me, I usually just buy and hold besides my recent excursion in short term trading. At least I'm convinced now about short term trading being a fraud, and that no one can continuously time the market forever.

People need to sleep and eat so there is bound to be a period of error for market timing.I haven't found anyone in the whole world that could successfully time the market, and everyone else just promotes a guru that uses price to time entries and exits. I think this is possible, but it all comes down to luck, like in my idea to trade JFIN it went from 2.21 to 18 and that was all based on other unsuspecting people buying the stock at a higher price based on momentum. So it happens on the high end too, but promoters are likely more subtle about it. Maybe like something maybe BABA where all the brokers were pushing it for Chinese investment, and now it is falling after the momentum is over. So in something like CIEN the momentum is there, but how far can we push the stock price to bring in more momentum investors? What does the news have to be to bring in people to buy at the top or are we buying the top now? 15% either way, it was a fun idea to look into. I know you are being cautious Jiesen because you state, "I know it seems a bit risky." It looks more like a pure momentum wager but if you know when to stop you are likely to make it. I don;t think the A.I. stuff will be over for a couple years after looking into the marketing of the stocks and the huge supply of money still on the sidelines. There is nothing else to invest in. From where I am, there is only the stock market, A.I. and gold.
