difference of opinion is what makes a market, NBB. whether I agree with you on the direction of a particular stock or not, I'm always happy to have a dialog going, and appreciate your looking out for me!

It is alright if you don't want to follow the chart's prediction. And I wasn't trying to be obnoxious; just wanted to warn others that this is not likely the bottom. BOOM is a great company no doubt; I am just interested in you and all MM types making the most money the quickest and safest way possible.Originally posted by jiesen View PostEarnings, NBB, earnings.
They hit, or more like exceeded the earnings numbers for this quarter, but kept the guidance conservative for next quarter. They will earn $2+ this year, and about $3 next. Business is still going great for BOOM, and it was a good deal at $50. Now that the earnings guidance has gotten some people nervous, and the resulting selling has gotten the TA folks all excited about a $22 target, the price is at $36, which is an even better deal than $50, and nothing has really changed about the business, so I'm buying- pardon me if I don't take the chart as a predictor of future prices. If it indeed does drop to $22, and there isn't a good fundamental reason for it, I'll either be doubling up my position or buying it back again (after selling for either a nice profit or a small loss).

I didn't know when BOOM would go bust, but I knew the chart said it was.

Sold BOOM short 4/15 @ 43.44 and held through the upturn. After hours (after earnings) tonight bot to cover @ 41.75. It hit support at about 41.50 so I did the best I could. Currently bid/ask is 42.25/42.45. It closed reg. trading today @ 46.59.

Boom currently has a target of $22 on the PnF. I see my last post on this thread warned that $64 (I said $62.50 on the chart) was probably it, but in real life $61.14 was the limit. Ugh! Chart showing a "death cross" coming, too. Glad you got out at 14% Jiesen.
If you want to play it upside down, ie, short it, then short the $42 bust when it comes.

Sold BOOM at 57.8
Sold my BOOM today for a 14% profit in one month (didn't want to get too greedy this time, as it is a pretty wild market). Hope all the rest of you get some nice profits out of this one as well!Originally posted by jiesen View PostOk, I upped my limit until it hit at 50.8, so now I'm in, and will fearlessly spam the Yahoo! board with my opinion. I probably paid $2 more than I had to for this one, but I think when it hits $64 in 4-6 weeks, it won't really matter anymore whether I paid 48 or 50 for it.
Thanks for the awesome pick, $$MM! You are HUGE!!!

NBB, Ernie's target was 63,69, so it will require a really fast trigger finger if that 64 resistance is as hard as you suppose. I checked my limit order and it's panting to get executed ...
Regards,
Karel
