In the Cleveland Plain Dealer this morning, it was announced that National City Bank (NCC) is in big financial trouble and looking for a buyer (quick). This is an old bank, once connected with the Bush family (the "Herbert" or "Walker" side) in Ohio. A great surprise to everybody here (except me -- it had to happen to this bank too). Don't know about dt-ing it but it's worth a look. RiverOriginally posted by IIC View PostHonestly...I have no idea...But I'm not gonna hold my breath.

But since everything seems so wacko...I am considering looking at Day Trading some banks and brokers...Altho the minute I try it is probably when the bottom will fall out

yes...I bought several banks which are paying 10% dividends...I think most of the bad lettuce has been rooted out..particularly in the smaller banks where it is more difficult to hide it.Originally posted by billyjoe View PostDo forum members think that good banks such as HCBK , even though recently reaching new high are being punished and undervalued because of their crooked brethren?

According to the research, C should close on May 16 somewhere between $27.50 and $30.00

nice find, Peter Your $25 call option, CEE, may appreciate 50% to 100% or even more by May 16. What "system" are you using?

The Second Great Depression is on its way. We'll have a huge stock market dump here very soon . . . perhaps in the next week or two due to the earnings reports.Originally posted by IIC View PostDo a search...see what I said about C and the Banks in the past...The carnage isn't even close to being over..Doug(IIC)
