I did it. I bought Citi at 1.62. Not many shares but considering how much I have to play with, 1/3rd of that.

So far so good, I was going to put in a stop at $2 if C can hit $2.10

I don't know why but I think Citi has the potential to hit at least $3 before falling back

You have to figure that if they made $8 billion in Jan and Feb, which was reported, then March would have to be very good as well. Remember they have borrowed money from the Fed at "Zero" and are begrudgingly lending it out at higher than normal interest rates. There is no way that they can lose money this quarter.

So they are going to report some great numbers....BUT...how much more will they write down?? That's the big question. Is the "bad bank" actually bigger than the good bank?.... making the company essentially worthless.

Got it at $1.21 out at $2.83. However still down because I had bought shares a couple months back at $15 when I thought it was a deal. At 1.21 I had bought the same amount of shares that I already owned at $15. Well, new and a lot to learn. Let me know if you think it might be good to get back in next week.
