Some stocks I'm considering for 2008

What do you guys think about the following?

RGEN, OSIS, HOKU, SVVS, BRCM, NVDA

SVVS, HOKU, and RGEN--I've got some very positive feedback from others.

Also, do you think INTC can reach higher stock prices? I am much of a noob in the world of stocks and I would prefer to get actual people comments from this forum instead of what online analysts are saying.

Oh and how do you guys go about finding your stocks? Do you just randomly look up a company and just start comparing? I see a lot of companies have a broad 52-week range pricing (ie. $6.07-$43.64). Is that typically a good sign? Again, I apologize for the noob questions but I just have to know.

let's see....BRCM is expensive and doesn't have much momentum..(I hate that).

    HOKU isn't profitable yet

INTC looks cheap here...I like it

NVDA..I like the better revenue growth and it also looks attractive at these levels

OSIS is too expensive and I don't know if it has sold off completely yet

    RGEN is not profitable either

    SVVS sales are declining
