8 Cheap Stocks that pay amazing dividends

Here are 8 stocks which I think I am going to invest in next week. Since the market is extremely volatile, I figured a safe play would be to buy a basket of these stocks. They are cheap, have solid revenues and earnings, and best of all pay huge dividends.

I guess my thinking is that these guys may have been sold off unfairly, and even if I don't get them at the bottom, owning the dividend will make it worthwhile to hold them.

Since I am buying a portfolio of them, 2 or 3 stinkers won't hurt me too badly.

    Here they are:

BHBC BVF CCOW FIZZ TNH TGIS TKS IWA

What do you guys think of this strategy, and these stocks in particular?

    dividends rock!

I already own BVF from a 20% higher price.

TGIS is going to cut their dividend IMO... lots of corporate troubles there

These are the 2 that I know off the top of my head, I'll have to check out the others.

I like your thinking, though. I've been looking at good dividend payers as well. Another one that I found is KNL. But I have not purchased any shares, yet.

KMGB also has a nice DRIP plan that is worth getting into.
    Hide not your talents.
    They for use were made.

I'm not personally interested but here are a couple of sites to look for divvy stocks:

web.com - Original domain name registration and reservation services with variety of internet-related business offerings. Quick, dependable and reliable.

On the surface CCOW looks like a steal. There has to be a catch, tho!

Actually I like BHBC the best. If there is going to be a bank which has the smallest portfolio of bad loans, I would have to think Beverly Hills is the one!

Names can be deceiving...They only have one branch...and it is nowhere near Beverly Hills http://www.fbbh.com/inside/contact.asp

Good research Doug. They also voted to suspend their dividend. Funny what a little research will uncover!

                    Mr.Mkt.
I also noticed from Doug's California real estate sales link that the average selling price of Beverly Hills property declined 50% from Feb.'07 to Feb. '08.

Good Point Billy...actually it was -58%.

However, there were only 10 sales...If my house had sold last month the overall avg. would've been +63%.

Problem is in Beverly Hills there are a lot of houses in the $2 to $8 mil. range...But those $50 mil. homes can really skew the avg...You don't usually see such wide price percentage discrepencies in most neighborhoods.

I have lots of Divvy-paying stocks in my IRA. Good place to keep them while they're not taxable.
