Silver up again today. U.S. silver coin now worth 16.645X face value. I've found 1704 silver dimes in 2011-2012 and so far in 2013. I can't quit until at least 2000 finds.

Buy it....in fact this is the time to be invested for a longer period of time for gold equities.....its a mother of all crisis for the sector...you wanna be in it when its freaking dead like this.....The S&P 500 has probably topped....i might have shorted around the top if so....please check out this blog.....its shows realtime trades done and every trade is recorded and shown...the account is up by around 70% in one month already.....

Secrets to Strategies in being profitable in any market shown in REALTIME the trades will be based on the inter-market relationships with different asset classes and how to capitalize on it.....If you are keen to embark with me on my journey in growing a pathetic $3000 over time...i urge to you take the time to read through my post and see how far we can go on this....so far for the few mths in 2013 you could see my trades growing the money from 3k to 10k....thereafter i joined a company to manage some money over the last couple of years........from that period of time due to the lack of time and conflict of interest I couldnt spare much time on blogging and trading much on my own....thereafter only grew that capital to 16k.......all my posts will show you the positions i am in and the trades i have made...this is a no bullshit site and real money is put to the test in real time....hopefully the experience could help anyone anyone whom still researching and grinding to reach that holygrail....risk taken for each trade would be very subjective as some trades would hold slightly more weight given a strong fundamental basis for the trade ....i have some swing trades and some intraday trades....depending on the conditions of the market, i could even take a longer term positional trade. I've had a nagging to buy some silver and gold stuff for a few months. Today's chart voodoo and market action is the catalyst to make it happen. SLW and IAG come to the top of my mind for something good to buy that should make great gains over the next year(s). Thoughts?

Well the price of silver seems low and it's continuously going down day by day. What is the update of gold rates. May i know?

Ahoy Billy....I think silver is still going lower...the chart looks very weak....the G/S ratio is looking favorable soon to sell your gold and buy all the silver you can with the proceeds.... I'm waiting till we hit a G/S of 75 to make my move...
Those Silver Eagles at Kitco are sure tempting...$22.50 each/100...a $4 premium, but that's pretty common now...even the 90% carries a premium...
Did you buy the numi version of those ATB coins or are they the non-numi coin dealer version? I own the first two years of those coins in the numi version...The mint plans to make those until 2022, I think there's 50 or 60 total coins planned.

Is this what they call a dead cat bounce ? I think not. I love silver and think I'm buying CEF today. Why didn't anybody ever mention it before?

You can buy both gold and silver by investing in CEF. This closed end fund has sold at an average premium of 7.715% over the last 10 years, now selling around 1.19%

I own shares in this fund.

Gold at $1575, Silver at $28.50

Seems like a fair price. Time to see how much my spare change jars can buy...

The great wild silver hunt of 2012 is over. I'm happy to report that all goals were met and surpassed.

    90% silver dimes--718 out of 1,183,050 searched ratio 1/1648

    silver value 718 X 2.1904= $1572.71

    90% silver quarter---1 X 5.476= $5.48

    40% silver half dollars--265 X 4.4782 = $1186.72

    90% silver half dollars--49 X 10.9521 = $536.65

    80% Canada silver half--1 X 9.0839 = $9.08

Total for the year $3310.64 silver melt value , face value $229.55

Total number silver coins = 1034

    2011 Total $1721.05. Two year total $5031.69.

My new goal is to find $10,000 in wild silver in 4 years, 2011-2014. It won't be easy. I'll be taking candy and flowers to the bank tellers for 2 more years.

I found the silver halfs at 36 different banks and credit unions within a 20 mile radius of my house. I have accounts ( some as little as $10) at 17 of the branch offices.

Interesting Hags. How many "wheaties" would that mean? I have a 5 gal. water jar that is about half full of just "wheaties". Wonder how many ft. that would be. Probably about 16 of them in an inch figuring at 1/16" per each penny which translates to 192 per ft. So 40' high stack would be 7680 pennies or $76.80.
Also have you checked HOV lately. Up to $5.54 right now. My $2.75 entry is now a double.
