By the way, I haven't heard any complaining yet from the folks getting their stimulus checks. I'll bet that when the Dems get their chance to buy off the voters, the checks will be at least double these ones (and oil will cost double, as will a gallon of milk, etc.). Besides supply/demand and speculation, the price of anything will also be affected by the propensity of the government to print new money.
Thats part of the problem, if you printed in money in your basement, they would jail you as a counterfeiter. However the crooks at the fed can print money out of thin air. The fed needs to be removed from having any power!

God help the People, they really need it now with these crooks in power.
God while im at it? Do you think you can lead me to a wowmen with ron pauls mind and liz tylers body?

However, they are getting caught in their positions and forced to close the trade as oil continues to rise to the top without taking a breather. Therefore, as shorts are closed, this sends the price even higher as they effectively buy at a loss... Am I assuming your point correctly?
      That is exactly my point.

        Price of a dollar

It's Monday morning 8 am on the East coast and the lucky folks with the number 7 in their SSN are cashing in their gub'mint checks:

The $140 oil today had NOTHING to do with that fire in the headlines.

Next Monday it'll be $145 on a strike in Mexico, cyclone in Indonesia, or a thundercloud spotted over the oil sands in Canada.

China news big today, and will slow global demand for oil. As price increases demand usually decreases and I think we are starting to see this. Also another big meeting this weekend on Oil, the bubble might soon burst and then stabilize.

            just my 2 cents

im looking at bz and bwtr a water stock for swings.

Wm has 27b in assets book value 18 and will recently add 1 bil to borrowers Assistance Program which helps WaMU homeowners stabilize their finances and avoid foreclosures.

When is silver going to take off? It is the most depressed of all the metals IMO.

                      OIL to 75

Now they saying Oil to 75 -80 within 3 months because of Chinese demand to go backwards.

China's artificially regulated oil prices have been blamed for spurring shortages in the domestic market as oil companies have hoarded supplies and refineries have stopped processing in order to avoid losses. At the previous prices, domestic refineries were losing more than $100 for each ton of crude they processed.

Hope your info on oil is correct and Peanuts seems to be dead on about silver......heavy demand, low supply, undervalued.

Oil is controlled by unregulated traders in European Dark Rooms at 16/1 margin...I think it is about time the ICE is kicked out of Atlanta...As for financials...Let's bring the Fantasy banks under control...I'm not much of a Gov't Control kinda guy...But I think the Gov't should step in and regulate the LEH's of the World http://www.marketwatch.com/news/stor...&dist=hplatest

BTW...Besides China...Mexico should increase gas prices domestically...otherwise their oil industry is gonna be in BIG trouble
