MELA A MEGA stock in the making

Several months ago I went to a dermatologist for a skin cancer screening. While the Dr "Visually" scanned my body , I thought to myself , "There has to be a better way", In this day of high technology , the procedure seemed so archaic to me . Fortunately for us , at the end of 2008 there will be a "Better Way" MELA ( Electro-Optical Devices ) has developed a hand held device called MELA-FIND , a hand held device that provides quick scans of the skin to determine if suspicious lesions are melanomas ( deadly skin cancers that will kill; but, if detected early are almost 100% curable.
Why do I like the stock MELA? Listen Up and read the following facts.

    1. Biopsies average $1,800 , and as a result 9 Billion is spent on biopsies that result in 98% which come back normal . MELA-FIND can save Billions.
    2. MELA had its IPO debut in 11/05 and needed money for clinical trials while in the middle stages of Phase II FDA trials. Currently raising funds is not an issue , and now in the FINAL stage of phase III trials , MELA has been granted "Fast Track" status from the FDA.
    3. The MELA-FIND hand held device is placed next to the skin over a suspected lesion . Images are then automatically submitted to MELA's data base for analysis. Afterwards, MELA will let the physician know if a
    biopsy is warranted.
    4. Clinical trials at 30 testing centers scanned more than 6,000 lesions from 4500 patients . Evidence shows that MELA-FIND is far superior to a trained Dr's visual inspection. Amazingly the device can accurately diagnose samples as small as 5-7 cells.
    5. A physician will buy the device for approximately $30,000 and charge between $175-250 per diagnostic procedure , with $75 of each procedure "Kicked Back" to the Dr. Basically this is a Cash Cow operation for MELA.
    6. Askion of Germany has already agreed to manufacture the device using high quality Carl Zeiss optical components.
    7. The market is HUGE. The American Cancer Society recommends that more than 100 million Americans over the age of 40 should have a visual skin screening . The WORLD market for MELA-FIND will be 3-4 times the size of the US Market. MELA will seek foreign approval after FDA approval.
The CEO, Joe Gulfo holds both MD and MBA degrees, and an eminent team of medical and software supports the company founder who is an electrical engineer with impressive credentials.
    8. MELA-FIND is expected to hit the market in late 2008.
    9. Well there you have it . Yes, FDA approval could be denied and a myriad of other things could happen , and "Johnny Worry Wart" will always have a million excuses of "Why Not To Buy"
    10. MELA has an amazingly small float of only 15,000,000 shares and is now currently priced at $7.95 . My advice would be to buy in now before FDA approval . If you still seem reticent ....READ the reports below .

Good Luck And God Bless !

Mr M thanx for your input . There is another system EGIR which uses a Tape strip Diagnosis ( Genomics ) Vs The MELA Light Diagnosis .
The MELA process provides an answer in 10 SECONDS , The Tape Strip mthtod is perhaps at best a 3 DAY turnaround.

Dr Joe Gulfo Explains all at this presentation .

BOTTOM LINE ALL STOCKS ARE WORTHLESS. If you buy MELA set a tight stop and raise it as the stock rises . Any bad news could send MELA down like greased lightening.
And remember ....no matter how good the story.....NEVER MARRY A STOCK!

        Mela A Minor Setback

MELA was dealt a blow by negative comments from the Motley FOOLS . The chart for MELA seems to indicate that the stock still looks good.

Personally , I don't have faith in 2 A Holes Dressed up in Joker's caps .I still remember a few years back this guys were pumping some hard drive or storage stock that fell like a rock . When ya throw out tons of picks .....the law of averages dictates that some will be profitable.
