    MCCain & Obama on TAXES!

Oh Yeah ........Vote for OBAMA and punish myself Hee Haw !

A few points to remember and consider: You can verify the tax information at http://money.cnn.com/news/specials/e...08/index..html,

    if you'd like.

(INTERESTING DATA JUST RECEIVED ON TAXES & PROPOSED CHANGES IN TAXES AFTER 2008 GENERAL ELECTION.)

    Time to consider your pocketbook:

    CAPITAL GAINS TAX

    MCCAIN:
0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples). McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

    OBAMA:
28% on profit from ALL home sales

    How does this affect you?

If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.

    DIVIDEND TAX
    MCCAIN : 15% (no change)

    OBAMA : 39.6%

    How will this affect you?

If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the money earned on taxes if Obama becomes president. The experts predict that 'Higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains would crash the stock market, yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.'

    INCOME TAX (find your bracket)
    MCCAIN (no changes)

    Single making 30K - tax $4,500
    Single making 50K - tax $12,500
    Single making 75K - tax $18,750
    Married making 60K- tax $9,000
    Married making 75K - tax $18,750
    Married making 125K - tax $31,250

    OBAMA (reverse all tax cuts)

    Single making 30K - tax $8,400
    Single making 50K - tax $14,000
    Single making 75K - tax $23,250
    Married making 60K - tax $16,800
    Married making 75K - tax $21,000
    Married making 125K - tax $38,750

Under Obama, your taxes will more than double!

How does this affect you? No explanation needed. This is pretty straight
    forward.

    INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

    OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax

    How does this affect you?

Many families have lost businesses, farms, ranches, and homes that have been in their families for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved ones will only lose them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet.

New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already)

New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity)

New taxes on retirement accounts, and last but not least....

New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!

THE FOREGOING IS SOMETHING YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF. . . IT SHOULD MAKE YOU THINK BEFORE YOU CAST YOUR VOTE IN NOVEMBER.

Please spread the word. This will catch a lot of families off guard.

(Please remember that not voting at all is another vote for Obama............)

My son 26 is in a good career , and the LAST thing I would like to see is him being drafted. This war in Iraq , or "Meat Grinder", is a total waste because of the politically correct politicians running it . It will turn into another Vietnam, were 50,000 American lives were lost for absolutely NOTHING, mostly attributed to some inane Falling Dominoes Theory!
Perhaps in the coming years , Baghdad will be a hot vacation spot as is Vietman now!

          Obama "Say It Ain't So!"

I received this E-mail early this morning ......Gezzzzz can this be true?

          Dear Peter,

I recently became a member of the National
Rifle Association, and just today received a
          letter from them.

I was shocked at what I read...

The letter talked about Barack Obama's Ten Point Plan to "Change"
          the SECOND AMENDMENT !!!

          This includes the following:

1.) Ban the use of firearms for home defense.
2.) Pass federal laws eliminating your right to carry.
3.) Ban the manufacturer sale and possession of handguns.
4.) Close down 90% of the gun shops in America
5.) Ban rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.
6.) Increase federal taxes on guns and ammunition by 500%+

          and much much more...

Plus he's changing the American flag on Air force one to this weird
          logo.

You can see everything and verify the truth of what I'm telling
you by visiting this NRA link

Established in 1975, the Institute for Legislative Action (ILA) is the "lobbying" arm of the National Rifle Association of America. ILA is responsible for preserving the right of all law-abiding individuals in the legislative, political, and legal arenas, to purchase, possess and use firearms for legitimate purposes as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

I know some of you support him, but do you really want to support
          this ???

PS - My son's and I have enjoyed hunting together for years, we
enjoy long range shooting, we are competitive and we also carry a
hand gun when we travel across Nevada, or when we go camping.

You never know when your going to run into some crack addict who wants to
kill you for the 20 dollar bill in your wallet and have sex with your
children right before he kills them.

Unfortunately we live in a world that is exactly as I describe.

I for one will always carry a hand gun to protect my family and kids, when
          the situation is appropriate.

Do this country a favor and DO NOT VOTE for this BARACK OBAMA!!

He is not committed to protecting and upholding the constitution, his aim
          is to change it!

PSS - I'm not a political buff, I probably know less about this campaign
than you do, but I know for certain if we have a president focusing on taking
away our rights, he most definately has no clue as to what he is doing.

I saw a sign once that said "If guns kill people, then pens misspell words"
This couldn't be any more true.

Taking away my rights and your rights is the path to a dictatorship in my
          humble opinion.

This country deserves more than MR. OBAMA !!!!!

          Sincerely,

          Mark Deaton
