Penny stock picks??!!!

I wouldn't put a stop on it, I have 3500 shares and willing to wait. If it goes to zero I'm out 100 bux. If it goes to .50 I did pretty good.

What would you consider as a tight stop for USFM, a .03 stock? Just curious.

is lotto play basically saying... you might as well buy a lottery ticket? I'm a little confused as to why anyone would use stocks as an outlet to gamble. Isn't it about tilting the odds in your favor?

Lotto plays have different meanings to me and are not something I would be putting a big % of my portfolio into:
SIRI I am green but the fundamentals aren't good. I am hoping for a buyout but if it files BK I'm out with a small profit.
USFM Sounds like a great company but until they implement their strategy it will probably hover in the same area. I am willing to wait on it and if something bad happens no great loss, if it goes to .06 I doubled and will place a stop and/or take half off the table and let it go long.

Does this make any sence to you guys? Makes a lot more sence than to go long in FNM/FRE before the bailout without a stop.

I did get stopped out and instead of waiting for the dust to settle I went back in and again got stopped out. Entered the next day at a much lower number.

Do you actually have a plan, or you are just making things up as you go? Or what have I missed?

Of course I have a plan and it is very similar to dollar stocks with stops and all. One difference is the entry/exit timing, have to be a bit more cautious because a few cent move in either direction means a much higher%

I frankly did not see the use of a penny thread, and now I see what is becoming of it, I think I am fully justified.

Yes they do that's why I use tight stops, you cant go without one in a penny play IMO. All my plays (almost) utilize stops and are updated daily. Looking at 10 new plays but waiting for entry... current positions:

AIRN
PRXM
QUIK
SIRI <- lotto play w/stop
TKO
CAMP <- few cents shy of a double on my entry
HTM <- doubled once working on twice
UBRG < here is why you need tight stops and to wait before stopping twice!!
USFM <- no stop... lotto play

That 200+ must have been before a (rather incomprehensible) 1:25 split, so make that 8+.

And it is a very thinly traded stock, about $15K daily!

And it has an amazing ratio of 500M stocks authorized and 5M issued. With 3.5M of those 5M shares issued last year; do you want to see that happen again this year?
