It is a possibility, yes, but it has more going for it with its Plastic2Oil story than, say, SKGO with its ‘merger’ story. JBI CEO Bordynuik has a name to lose, but this might be the time for him to do it, in return for some cash. One of the problems I see is that there is no confirmation of the announced debt redemption (effective 12-29) and another that the production schedule has a delay. I like the attempts to get JBI listed, but I would like revenue even better. Yet another possible problem is that the number of authorized shares recently was doubled, to 150M. About 60M shares outstanding, of which 25M float. And there seem to be more people working on catalysts.

That is taking a very negative stance, however, and all these (possible) problems notwithstanding, I remain in JBII, but I will continue to trim the position back on the way up. My next sell target is 7.90; I will lose money when JBII drops below 2.40. And I am not betting the bank on JBII. Nobody should be.

Not just any penny stock, please

I personally really do not like a penny stock thread, never mind that I bought JBII with my own money, and with sub-penny stock calls coming up I want to draw a line. If you want to draw attention to a penny stock here, instead of at the countless places where penny stock investors congregate, it should be for a stock
        • with a share price of 50c or more;
        • with a market cap of 50M or more.

These requirements might be waived for a company that actually has (continuing) revenue.

This should keep the worst of the breed out.

        Regards,

And you first posted about it when it was 1.50ish, so where is the problem? Perhaps these rules stand in the way of some brilliant picks, but even if they do, it will not be for long.

And if you got in that early, that would have been about the time that Bordynuik took over the company, correct?

Aha, I overlooked the ticker change. Well, my point still stands, as you only would have had to wait one day Anyway, even if the rules are a bit arbitrary, they will still be useful, I think.

This is nothing but a great buying opportunity, imo.

Have to admit i'm still not 100% convinced. I think it's a great high risk pick based on the research I have done, but it's nowhere close to a safe bet lol. But aren't those the most exciting positions to hold?

Best of luck to you holding onto this one. I guess it's easier to do when you got in at next to nothing. But I can't justify investing at this point with such a LARGE market cap, and so little revenue.

If things go according to plan to plan tough, this could be a huge money maker. On the other hand the risk of dilution is overwhelming.

Dilution is the least of my concerns. I believe the revenue from Pakit and the tape reading business alone will take everyone by surprise.

In for a penny, in for a pound. Myself, I bought 2K more shares late last week (now holding 10K shares). Average pps is $2. Actually tried for more shares a while back, but thought $1.20 was too much to pay....lol.

At any rate, the risk vs reward is acceptable to me at this point. If JBII does half of what they say, I will be ecstatic. If not, I don't believe I will lose any money.

                                Live long and prosper,

                                G
