Where did all the members go?

Somehow ou rmembership went from 3,000 members to 700. If you are a lurker and aren't able to log in, it may mean that your membership was somehow deleted.

Go ahead and register again. It's free and won't hurt, I promise. This way you'll get my emails.

I am a member now. Attempted before, but for reasons unknown to me, I was unsuccessful. I have been lurking now for about 2 months. I don't know alot about the markets, other than I'm sure I can lose my money at least as well as my mutual funds have.

I have been lucky a couple of times since moving all of my 401K into a self directed Scottrade account. I cannot count on continued luck, so I am here.

Have already learned a bit (man, looking at those charts can make you crazy), looking orward to learning more.

To all of you that know what you are doing and participate here, providing information, knowledge, and guidance....Thanks, I appreciate it!

Found your discussion site after searching for more information on Fuqi Int'l which I bought during the downturn on Friday. I am new to on-line trading having opened an account at the beginning of April. Been working at it ever since and have increased my investment by exactly 50% since then. My strategy is a simple one, looking for great companies who are doing well and making money and have the stats to prove it but are under-valued. I'm looking forward to gaining some great insight from the other members here and hopefully, making some good contributions along the way.

There are a million and one indicators you can use for stocks on charts which is why it can be so dizzying. Now is a good time to get into the market as the only place for most stocks to go is up after being destroyed the past 9 months or so. I started trading about 5 years ago now and found most forums are full of idiots who are pumping stocks and overwhelming people with false info. I've found this one to be just the opposite, partially because it is so small. There seems to be a strong contingent of day traders here as well.

I agree with Lemon, this is the best site I have come across. Everyone hear is very helpful, and they love to share their knowledge and opinions which is very beneficial to the new members. It seems like they all learn from each other as well, catching certain criteria that may haven been missed, etc.

I am new to buying individual stocks but smart enough to know to listen to people that know more than I do about stock picking. Here, you have some great, intelligent members and $$$Mr. Market$$$ with 15, 16, 17, 18 picks in a row of 15% or more. I only wish I could get some of the money back that I had spent on joining other sites, newsletters, etc. This forum is definitely the best bang for your buck. Good luck trading.
