    TIS vote

I have TIS and in fact added some more today. I think it's a little gem with great earnings.

these are 5 nice stocks. here is a chart and some thoughts for each:

i thought this dump was a decent group of stocks. i made my pick with the one i thought was the best one of the group this morning. i bought CBOU at $6.37. timing is essential and catching a stock at that moment when it is getting ready to run is the key factor. catching them after they have run up 5 or 6 points is buying into strength and that is when the sharks who got in 5 points before you are looking to take their profits and run. believe me they are waiting to take your money.

            Awesome post Skiracer.
I like the gaming company, GCA. Lies, deceit, murder, took Visa for 25mil, and a now deposed founder named Robert Cucinotta. Fuhgeddaboudit, LOL.

On a more serious note, earnings are up. The underlying business is somewhat hurt by the consumer credit crunch causing people to use atm cards instead of credit cards. They make more money on credit card cash advances. On the other hand, they are closing 30 percent more business than they are losing. I forgot the numbers but they are projecting a good increase in EPS this quarter and beyond.

            It's a deal you can't refuse.

Then again I don't know much about researching stocks so read this only as my noob broad brush strokes opinion.

ive seen alot worse charts than GCA's. i didnt mean to say it stunk just that it wasnt for me. to be honest i never looked at its fundamentals just the technical aspects of its chart. maybe there is something there fundamentally that would make it worthwhile. at least you're honest about what you know and dont know. this forum should give you a chance to pick up on some research tips which can do you no harm.

Thanks for the great charts as usual. I'm learning as I go. I saw your post this morning about buying CBOU but I didn't get in because of the RSI in the overbought territory like you mentioned. All other charts look good too but probably would retrace a bit soon. I'm putting them on watch this week and might buy one of them especially CBOU.

it is a nice stock pete and i think it will move farther up but i think it will correct and pullback and digest some of those gains first. i would be anxious about buying it right here. patience will pay off with a lower entry.

this is a good setup but it was screaming for a correction/pullback. the chart patterns and technical analysis do not lie and in that lies the truth of the matter about this technical analysis stuff. it works and this is a prime example of it. but dont be dismayed because this was the normal course of events for this stock according to its chart. here is another look at it after todays action which btw was exactly as the chart suggested technically speaking. I am definitely looking for an entry here or lower if it continues to drop tomorrow a.m. further into it's handle. except for the fact that it was a bit overbought on the RSI scale right here it has now dropped slightly out of that overbought range. patience and discipline here will pay off.
