FUQI Stock offering question

Last week when FUQI announced that they were going to have a common stock offering, the price dropped about 3 dollars that day.

I see posted Fuqi International Inc. (FUQI) - 4.5 million shares expected to price Thursday via William Blair.

In general principle would you think that the shares should drop again once this actually happens...or has it already happened?

My uneducated opinion.

FUQI dropped $3 because of general market conditions in addition to the proposed stock offering. Anyone that should know, already knows about the 4.5 million shares. I believe it is already factored into the current price.

I bought again in the low 22's.......

Freakin' dropped off today...I was short & got out about even so I'm relatively happy but I was sweating it for a few days. Hope it gets back up there for ya soon.

Yo-glad it all worked out for you. I'm still in the black, it might drop another dollar or so in anticipation of the offering next week. Earnings should ( if they are as expected) counter the offering. FUQI back up, I get out, and find somethinig new to play with.

I'm more concerned with the BZ stock I am holding (waiting on earnings 8/3).

Yoyo- Look at the PPS (high of $25 as of 3:41 today), offering was priced today at $21.50.

Glad you covered your short position. I sold this morning (way too early), but still made almost +6% in about 5 days.

If it goes to $22 range, I'll play it again.

FUQI is the light & I'm the moth...can't stay away. I bought it before closing yesterday & rode it up some today, bailed & bought again towards closing.
