I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Doesn't like that $22.50 resistance line. Needs to regroup and punch through it. I doubt if that will happen the next couple of days. Or perhaps even more likely, PARL is going to form another shoulder and then break the neckline for a nice move. Worth watching.
If it is the complex s-s-h-s-s formation, she's coming back to $20 before she starts upwards.
I was out most all day shopping with my wife for a dress for a wedding this coming Saturday.
I called my brokers quote desk several times during the afternoon to check on HTRN and PARL. I also own PTMK and MAIN. I said I thought it was quite a ride up yesterday and that I would be very careful with it today because of it. I don't know what it will do in the near term that's why I took the money and ran yesterday. Anyway when it went up from the open I had my reservations because of the resistance at 22.50 and again at around 25. 22.50 stopped it right at that line and fell the rest of the afternoon to 22 to fill that opening bell gap up. I still would be very careful. It it opens above 22.10 or 22.15 and goes above 22.50 and holds it might be a good intraday play tomorrow as it could easily go to resistance at 25 after that. You will have to watch it closely. It looks like the big move was yesterday.
Traded my old fave CREE early...got me back green for the week...Actually, Mon and Tues were good...but I gave it all back yesterday(Wed)...Scratched on NVDA today too.
This really does not impress me much...sure the U/D vol ratio is high...except the OB(which, even though I don't dabble much in OB's... I believe the #'s are important)...BUT WHERE'S THE VOLUME???

No volume+new highs=the end of the world. Soon we will fall off of it.

Was anyone watching PARL yesterday. It broke that 22.50 line and was a pretty nice play. Up 1.32 for the day. I wouldn't touch it today with the long weekend in front of us after yesterdays gains.
