I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

"NEVER" hit "the big time"? .... Maybe we ain't on the same page, just how do you define "the big time"?
I was just playin' with 'ya Lye...Best, Doug(IIC)
Just out of curousity, and maybe we should move it to another thread, but what does everyone consider the "big time" as far as worth and what you are doing? How much money is big time and does power come into the equation? What are your thoughts on what is the big time?

I had a college roommate who's idea of hitting the big time was having his own pharmacy , not a business, but a personal pharmacy. He often put on a lab coat when sampling the meager products he could afford as a student.
Whatever the big time is, money probably has little to do with it. Some of the most miserable s.o.b's I've ever met were also the wealthiest.

Hey Ski .... About two decades ago I defined "The big time" much differently than I do now. Then it meant "grab it all and grab it now", and take no prisioners!!! .... In the past 10+ years I've seen some good friends / associates die .... some very near my age .... Some rather wealthy .... You know? They're just plain DEAD! .... I think about that .... Their money does them NO good now.
The "Big Time" to me means: Having "worth" beyond material assets .... Living a moral honest life, low in stress. Build and KEEP a good name (with God and with neighbor) .... Having a good marrage, Loving my family and having them love me .... Being debt free. Having job satisfaction .... Knowing I work hard and smart .... I don't worry too much about money. Money is a by-product of hard work and good planning .... just like poverty is a by-product of laziness and a lack of planning.

Hmm..."Personal Pharmacy"...Sounds like a "Crack House" to me.
"Trade What Is Happening...Not What You Think Is Gonna Happen"
IIC,
I don't think "crack" or "crack houses" existed when I was in college. My roommate dabbled in certain other products that involved smoke along with what was dispensed from the school clinic. He knew all the symptoms and the remedies that would be subscribed for a "cure".
I had a very nice week...maybe 'cause there was not so much to watch...Caught LCRD +.27 NVDA +.17 TASR +.06 SOSA -.02 GEOI -.02 on Friday...Not a banner day...but the week was...IIC

Doug,
Does Mr. Breakout keep statistics on breakout success and failures for his separate lists, such as MoMo vs. Crossovers vs. daily watchlists? Thanks
