Market looks bad...I took my lumps and got out of NUAN and GIGM...Rather take a small loss than risk this

Not a particularly good today for me...Played for pennies early on BRLC BOOM...made pocket change...Held NUAN but lost .35 later and lost a few cents on GIGM...Key is to keep losses small...IIC

Doug would that have been your answer before gold took a dive? While I have your attention If we have the MM convention we will not have to worry about your talk you will most likely be at the Canadian ballet.

Amazing coincidence that I bought MIND yesterday and it shows up on your list today. The same thing has happenned on several other occassions with ABAX and PETS, two stocks that ran up some pretty impressive gains right after I bought them. Reassuring to see that they turn up on someone elses watchlist after the fact. I mentioned DXPE in the same post with MIND an it is in the same sector but didn't show up on your list. They both had a nice gain on this past Monday and tanked big time the rest of the week. MIND bottomed Friday afternoon an I jumped in on what I think is the C wave bottom. Showing some interest from that bottom.

Here is a very simple way to predict market direction. Not 100% foolproof but pretty accurate...This is a daily chart, I normally use the 1 minute chart during market hours...Doug

Just checked the link...The first green bar should be moved to the right by a couple days and the bar at the end of Oct. should be green

Doug sure would like to know the answer to that. I thought that gold was a defensive play? Guess I have to ask MM

Used to be but hasn't been for a while. Nowadays it's more of a U.S. Dollar hedge, since gold and the USD are inversely correlated to each other. You also need to consider China and India, who are significant buyers of gold for reasons unrelated to the USD.
