Doug,

Thumbing through some of your post, I see that you use your own version of RS and not IBD. Are you running that on your own platform or one an "off the self software" (Amibroker, Metastock, Tradestation, or etc)? I am trying to write a code for Amibroker based upon Pitbullinvestor.com version of RS, but my programing skills suck and I cannot quite get it right, but someday I will.

I don't do it myself and I doubt that the programmer will ever tell me...Sorry...Doug

I log in via the web to access it...It is really not mine, but a friend of mine allows me certain access to his data...That's about all I know. I just copy/paste after I run a sort.

Interesting day as Naz closes right on Support.

Been a tough 3 weeks on the DT front although I eneded green last week and the week prior...But not by much. Today I lost .10 on OPWV and then lost .04 the second time I bot it. Scratched on BSX and made .11 on HTI...Went to work...it was kinda BLAH...Was watching TGEN early but I wasn't watching too close as the market wasn't in a good mood...But I got in 3x in the 6.20's(a bit late tho)...it goes up but then pulls back to an earlier low..about 6.07ish...thot of adding again as it bounced but I didn't...Trimmed 1/2 for +.18 then trimmed again for .39 and finally out in the 6.70's for .54...it went further but I felt good about the whole thing...Especially when it pulled back later. Also tried ONNN and got .08...Doug

There is a magazine called "Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities" which has alot of interesting technical analysis articles in it plus alot of information on writing code for programming your own indicatiors for RS, RSI, money flow, stockastics, and many more. They also give you the code for writing specific functions for all of the trading platforms, some of which you mentioned including Tradestation, Metastock, and a host of others. I've been working with it trying to teach myself how to write code for Excel but it's not my forte and my know how is much less than my desire it seems. Anyway I've been plugging away at it for awhile now and it takes time. You should look into this magazine and what they have to offer. I'm sure it could and would be a big help in your quest to learn to write some code for these indicators.

The program I use for TA is Amibroker; they provide a copy of the code written by the progammers that is submitted to Stocks and Commodities. However, I am trying out a new trading system, and like you - I am trying to teach myself how to program to code the system, since there is no public code that matches what I need.

MoMo

Not a bad week...The last 2 weeks seemed like a struggle on the DT front although I made some each week...This week...while nothing to write home about was better...Today I took it easy but I made .24 avg on my new fave TGEN, lost .02 on GME and miraculously made .35 on that WILD TZOO ride...

But I am a bit concerned at first glance...The Naz 100 and Naz Comp +DI (Default) crossed down for the first time since August...Although the BP was up on both...Will have to do some serious charting this weekend.
