Bad news...I have not been able to get on that site lately...that's why I took off the link...I emailed the owner but no word.

I will post it somewhere verically and let you know...doesn't seem to work here...maybe 100 is too long to post vertically here...give me a few minutes and I''ll be back

          • Here is an awesome example of allowing some wiggle room with a small account using proper position sizing and profit retracement stops. Notice in the first chart this position only used 76 shares with a huge 20% stop. Risk was set for only 1% of the 20K. This means max pain allowed was 200.00. Any R/R plan over 1.0 is good. This position needed to hit 16.90 for you to set stop at 15.73. This would ensure a tiny profit. The 30% retrace gives it 1.17 wiggle. Next once 18.85 is hit you move stop to 17.39. So you adjust the retrace to your likings.

Advantages- Enter and set stop and leave it alone. Zero baby-sitting and less decisions to make. Fewer decisions often means larger profits IMO. Risk with in tolerance despite the 20% stop.
Disadvantages- smaller position and so profits will be smaller ..

Anyone care to interject some feedback on this?

I see nothing wrong with this and IMO this might be a pretty strong plan for many who are busy and don’t baby-sit the markets. Anyone can allocate a certain amount of port for trying to capture the huge gains. Will this work all the time? Nope you will get your share of stops, but what is important is that you get the occasional home run. These will more then cover the stops hit. Imagine making money by being wrong more then your right.

Maybe I missed this...But how long would you hold it if it just flat lined...it could run between say 11 and 14 for months...or longer?

And of course there is always the possibility of it being...say 10.60...they announce A/H...super bad and it opens at 9 the next morn and you are out.

I'm not saying it is not a good plan but it may not work according to theory...at least none of my plans ever do...Doug

Doug, you would need to setup your plans. I will make a bold statement here on MM’s forum. “The fewer decisions you make the better your performance”. How’s that for a statement. Anything can happen once in a position and in reality the only thing that matters once you’re in is following your plan for better or worse. This example is not a day trade or swing example.

As for the stock flat lining who cares it has not hit the stop I’d stick with it. In fact don’t even look at the stock but maybe once a week. How’s that for avoiding the micromanaging we all so much love to do.

The top Excel program is from a buddy I know in Canada and so I’ve never posted it before. I was not sure if he would approve. I have lost contact with him and doubt he would mind me sharing it. Should you want the Risk management program PM me with your e-mail and I’ll send it. You need Ecel to run it.

A little refresher...My MoMo list is posted after every market close. It consists of stocks in my Database of 5500 with a Relative Strength in the Top 5% that closed up at least 2% on at least 1.5x Average Daily Volume.

My Relative Strength rankings my not exactly match other's rankings because I use a ranking of 1 to 100, we don't have the same number of stocks in our databases and the treatment of IPO's is probably different. But the RS rankings are usually pretty close because the formula is basic.

                      Friday's MoMo:

NYMX, AZL, ZICA, BRLC, ROCM, SGEN, ALTH, UUU, SGMO, RVBD,
VOLC, CALM, CROX, CHDX, TNH, HAYZ, SPTN, PSIT, PRH, CRY,
