Well...I also got my monthly checks from GOOG and CJ...So I guess I can go back on BIDZ and buy more junk.

My wife got her Christmas card from George and Laura today...Pretty fancy...But Geez...No mention of me this year...She's doing fine...Guess I'm chopped liver nowadays...Maybe George and WON compared lists this year???
Random thoughts: I got whacked on BIDZ short in the last 5 min. of trade yesterday. Didn't get stopped out, but close. I wonder what today will bring?

What was your second order from BIDZ? Just wondering, are you now one of their Associates? I noticed that they supply banner ads to their Associates.

Hope you get a chance to watch the OK v. MO game tomorrow. I still remember the good old days of Barry Switzer v. Tom Osborne (he sure has his hands full right now).

John McC, Barack, and John E are late with their Christmas cards this year. Watching the mailbox with baited breath.

“Baited” breath? What does that mean? Have you been eating sushi?

Sorry, River, but I couldn't resist.

                It's a Dufonte...Lucien Piccard's cheaper brand...My wife loves it.

I still have doubts about BIDZ tho...I couldn't find out when it was supposed to be delivered...The tracking number didn't show up in their USPS tracking page...Since they require 48 hrs notice if it is not delieverd in time to get a refund I emailed them on Wednesday demanding a refund just to protect myself.

I never heard from them...But delivery was attempted on Thursday...My wife took the slip to the PO on Friday and picked it up...Geez...Now she's already seen her big Christmas present

There was no signature required on the first watch I got...it was just dropped in the mailbox.

I still have my suspicions about their site...As I think I've mentioned I have tried to bid in the last few seconds on items that were going really cheap...and my bids wouldn't register...This has happened too many times to be a coincidence IMO...But if that is true maybe they will stop it now that SL somewhat exposed them???

I'm a bit surprised that CSSGX is still around...originally I had given it 2 years...It has now been 26 months. But what really amazes me is that IBD still posts all the funds holdings everyday at their site...Doesn't seem like a very good promo tool.

I noticed that 20% of the funds holdings do not have an EPS or RS rating of 80+...Doesn't seem very Canslimmish to me.

                            A few facts...

Since inception in Sept 2005... +11.8% which works out to a 5.1% APY...A bit less than a Countrywide CD...CSSGX is considered a Mid Cap Growth Fund...I think a good comparison would be The S&P Midcap 400/CitiCorp Growth Index (Ticker Symbol $MDG at Stockcharts.com)

Since the day CSSGX started the $MDG is +26.6%.

Since May 9, 2006 CSSGX is -7.3%...$MDG is +9.7% over the same period.

Even the entire S&P 400 is +21.98% and +5.3% over the same periods.

I just don't get it...If the Canslim Experts cannot do any good...how do they expect Joe and Jane Canslim to do any better? Now, I've heard the arguement that it is tough to trade Canslim with too much money...But the fund only has $36 mil under management and an average holding of only about $525,000...So I don't think that arguement stands up.

Funny...How they alsways print the IBD vs. SP %'s and their 85-85 Index %'s...both of which have never jived with my calcs???...Wonder when they'll post the CSSGX perentages?

If you started an IIC fund I might have to buy into it. You'd take it seriously and tweak it if it stopped working.
