Doug, I know you see all, hear all, and know all. So you probably have this link. I've found it very useful for intraday reversal periods.

E*Trade to Move Back to Nasdaq
Departure from Big Board
Retraces Contentious Steps;
Promotion Deal Turns Tide
By GASTON F. CERON
December 15, 2006
E*Trade Financial Corp. is leaving the New York Stock Exchange to relist its shares with Nasdaq Stock Market Inc., dealing a blow to the Big Board and reversing a high-profile defection that once embarrassed Nasdaq.
On Dec. 27, E*Trade will move its shares back to Nasdaq, where they will trade under the symbol ETFC, E*Trade President R. Jarrett Lilien said.
E*Trade's decision to leave the New York Stock Exchange, a unit of NYSE Group Inc., is an about-face for the investment-services company, which left Nasdaq for the NYSE in 2001. Back then, losing E*Trade stung Nasdaq officials because much of E*Trade's growth had been fueled by small investors trading Nasdaq-listed stocks.
Nasdaq's chief executive at the time, Hardwick Simmons, said in 2001 that he was caught off guard by the move and even reached out to E*Trade's chief at the time, Christos Cotsakos, to no avail.
This switch also isn't without controversy. Part of the reason behind E*Trade's change is a plan for Nasdaq to help promote an E*Trade business that provides companies with employee stock-plan administration and options-management tools, Mr. Lilien said.
A spokesman for the NYSE, Richard Adamonis, says E*Trade first unsuccessfully sought a similar arrangement with the NYSE.
"E*Trade has informed us that they are entering into a commercial relationship with Nasdaq for stock-option services -- a relationship that we had declined when approached by E*Trade," said Mr. Adamonis. E*Trade provides options-plan services to NYSE Group, but Mr. Adamonis said NYSE Group is now "terminating E*Trade."
Mr. Lilien said he had been left with the impression that the NYSE could have worked with E*Trade on a plan to promote the company's stock-option services.
Regardless of the reason, losing E*Trade comes at a time when the NYSE and Nasdaq are locked in a battle for stock listings and trading market share. While Nasdaq still loses some companies to the NYSE, Nasdaq CEO Robert Greifeld has been able to stem those losses. He also has made inroads into the trading of NYSE-listed stocks on Nasdaq's systems.
He has even won a few victories in the listings war. Last year, he signed up another company with a big online-brokerage business, Charles Schwab Corp. San Francisco-based Schwab had been listed on both the NYSE and Nasdaq.
Also factoring into E*Trade's decision was the cheaper listing fees levied by Nasdaq, Mr. Lilien said. "We can save a reasonable amount of money that can be reinvested back" into the company, he said.
He also pointed out that a majority of E*Trade clients trade on Nasdaq or other electronic venues. "We're aligning ourselves with where our customers trade," he said.
When E*Trade left for the Big Board in 2001, the NYSE made the most of the opportunity, parading a horse ridden by a monkey on the trading floor, a reference to a similar image used in an E*Trade advertisement. It was one of the listing stunts often used by Dick Grasso, NYSE's then-chairman, to trumpet the exchange's wins."Trade What Is Happening...Not What You Think Is Gonna Happen"

The tightening bands do suggest a big move and its feasible that it could be up, no question. But the 40 week average is descending and that's not a good thing.
