I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. GOOG whacked a/h ( -$40) as they missed eps ests...Took the Q's with them.
I dt'd CCK and AMED...made some on each although I had to average down on AMED...well, I didn't have to but I did. I sold ALKS from
yesterday...worked out nicely...They came up and took the shares they
didn't take last Friday of my BABY so that worked out.
Only thing I own is SGP which I bot on Tuesday...I'm currently
down .50sh on it but everything else has worked the past week...Doug

Read an article in today's LA Times where a woman describes that she closed her account at IndyMac yesterday...Got a cashiers check from them...She then went to WaMu (I guess she wants to go thru this again...lol) and they told her that they would put an 8 week hold on the check...Don't forget the check is from the US Government.
Is it any wonder that WaMu is on my Sharptraders.com Top 10 Banks Most Likely To Fail list?

Doug,
Just checked my banks rating. Would you have any space in your backyard where I could bury something? Really it's just my daughter's pet bunny..........trust me. That's what the bank said too.
Here is another chart to help you to try to determine the trend...It
uses the TRIX 5,2 and TRIX 8,5...I also show the TRIX 15,9 which is
considered the DEFAULT setting...But the default is a laggard indicator imo.
I use weekly charts only so I can show a longer timeframe. Using
weekly charts will not allow you totry and call a top or
bottom...However, the same concept can be used on Daily charts but you
will get more whippy action. If you are not familiar with TRIX please
