Alliant Lake City Small Caliber Ammunition Co. L.L.C., Independence, Mo., was awarded on Nov. 22, 2004, a delivery order amount of $70,991,393 as part of a $71,377,864 firm-fixed-price contract for various Cal .22, Cal .30, 5.56mm, and 7.62mm Small Caliber Ammunition Cartridges. Work will be performed in Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 5, 2004. The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-99-D-0016).



Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., was awarded on Nov. 22, 2004, a $12,281,000 firm-fixed-price contract for Diesel Engines for the Palletized Loading System. Work will be performed in Detroit, Mich. (53.3 percent), Springfield, Ohio (7.3 percent), and Oshkosh, Wis. (39.4 percent), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on July 26, 2004, and one bid was received. Textron Marine and Land Systems, New Orleans, La., was awarded on Nov. 19, 2004, a $9,652,500 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for procurement of 27 Armored Security Vehicles. Work will be performed in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 17, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 23, 1994. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-99-C-S001).



Technical Solutions Group Inc.*, Ladson, S.C., was awarded on Nov. 18, 2004, a $5,909,743 firm-fixed-price contract for procurement of 15 Mine Protected Clearance Vehicles “Buffalo” and associated repair parts and spares. Work will be performed in Ladson, S.C., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 15, 2004. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Alexandria, Va., is the contracting activity (W909MY 05-C-0001).



Oldenburg Group Inc.*, Iron Mountain, Mich., was awarded on Nov. 19, 2004, a delivery order amount of $5,348,817 as part of a $54,306,249 firm-fixed-price contract for three Warping Tugs for the Modular Causeway System. Work will be performed in Iron Mountain, Mich. (73 percent), Portsmouth, Va. (14 percent), and Ballwin, Mo. (2 percent), and is expected to be completed by Nov. 1, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 28 bids solicited on July 28, 2000, and five bids were received. Sea Box Inc.*, East Riverton, N.J., was awarded on Nov. 19, 2004, a delivery order amount of $313,938 as part of a $431,323,887 firm-fixed-price contract for three configurations of the “Modular” shipping containers and five configurations of the International Organization for Standardization shipping containers. Work will be performed in Izmir, Turkey, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 18, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on March 5, 2004, and six bids were received. AIR FORCE



Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Clearfield, Utah, is being awarded a $10,370,664 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for a restructure of the Propulsion System Rocket Engine Life Extension Program. This is due to government testing delays and program budget shortfalls. The locations of performances are Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Clearfield, Utah and Aerojet, Clearfield, Utah. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by October 2006. The Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-98-C-0001).



LinQuest Corp., Los Angeles, Calif., is being awarded a $6,499,025 cost-plus award-fee contract modification. This modification extends for one fiscal year the specialized systems engineering support that the contractor provides to the Milsatcom Joint Program Price, particularly to the System Program Director and the advanced EHF (AEHF) program. Support includes analysis of requirements, waveform development, Interface Control Documents, advanced concepts development, training, system design support, and systems integration. The contractor also will maintain and upgrade the AEHF End-to-End Simulation Environment. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by September 2005. Negotiations were completed October 2004. The Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-98-C-0046, P00091).
