Only trade was APFC on news...+17%...That was nice...I am concentrating on watching 1 and 5 minute indicators on the Naz 100, Dow and SP 500 for possible e-mini and or futures trades in '06...So I don't have much time...But I would like to "Kick It Up a Notch" next year...And I am not "Risk Aversive"...I'm not in a big rush either...I paper traded Day Trades for 5 months before I tried it for 2 months w/ infrequent light trades w/ real $$$ before I actually went full bore...Any suggestions are welcome...Thx...Doug(IIC)

No Trades Today...I am concentrating on predicting Market Direction...Maybe I mentioned this???...I plan on kicking it up a notch in '06 and trading e-minis and then Index Futures...So I'm spending a lot of time on that...We all evolve I guess...Best, Doug(IIC)

Advice?? Shoo, you don't need any! heh I've said it all before in previous posts of mine about the eminis and how they're a different animal to stocks. Discipline with stops is a must or it's just a matter of time before one gets bitten. Recommend using OCA order platform where you can send all three orders with one click (IB's Booktrader or Ninja trader etc. with hotkey/mouse click preferences setup), use stop limits for every single trade entered immediately (no mental stops), have a back up action plan for the times either you lose power/net or the exchange closes down (i.e. what will you do for order management and hedging). You've probably thought of all of this anyway. Again, good luck!

I have thought about all that...but I have not figured it all out...Exchange problems are the biggest concern...but I will come up w/ a plan for that.

As far as power/computer problems...I will have one on dsl, one on cable and a laptop on wireless...The main computer will have a UPS.
