Nice pattern...I would say the right side high of the cup was 25.00 on 11/7....On the weekly the handle was a bit short but the p/v was good....On the daily the b/o was attempted on 12/2...vol was about avg at the time...pulled back...but on lower vol which was OK.

The real b/o came over multiple days which is not the norm...12/14-12/16...Argueably one could say today was the b/o...Overall not a "Classic"...but close enough. It was on my radar but the whippy action caused me not to pay close enough attention...But overall...a good pattern IMO...Doug

Don't you think it has not really "broken out" until that horizontal line is broken?

I see what you are saying...actually, it may be just forming the right side high of the cup now...In fact now that I look again...it probably is...In which case it should form a handle from here...Makes sense.

But, if you are considering the horizontal line...that line does not make much difference in a Cup w/ Handle pattern...The right side high is what creates the pivot point...and the right side high can be higher or lower than the left side high. By how much???...I've read many differernt interpretations...But I'd prefer +/- 5%.

It seems to have pretty decent details, I can use all the knowledge it provides.
Is it from a website or a software you're using ? I'd appreciate your help.

RIMM was Morpheus Trading Groups stalk of the week this week. Came out with it on Tuesday of this week. I think there was some good news across the wires Tuesday at Briefing.com and the stock spiked around $3.50 or so. I didn't make the play when it triggered at their setup. Looks to have lost some of the glitter today though.

Well, IBD got smart and finally dropped CTHR...Unfortunately, CTHR still shows up in the IIC 100 dropping from # 5 to # 65. That's the problem w/ mechanical scans...Can't do anything about the way the results come out based on your criteria.

I was a bit surprised that NILE dropped off the IBD 100...Especially since they had an article about it in the IBD 100 section in this Tuesday's paper. But I'm pretty sure their scan is mechanical too.

The IIC 100 has 18 stocks under $15 this week.

Before I ran the scan this morn I was perusing the IBD 100 and LIFC jumped out at me. It was added to the IBD 100 this week at # 40...Coincidental because it was on the IIC 100 last week at # 40...This week it drops to # 55...But I like it...IIC
