I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. At one point last year I had 50% of my net worth in it. I thought to myself "am I crazy?" and started selling off taking great profits. Still holding enough to make it very interesting.

nice! big expectations for earnings in a few minutes.
AAPL just missed on earning but don't worry market will ignore bad news and continue to rally base on rumors coming from Europe. You know the drill.
gave back all those recent gains today to close under $400. I'm looking at the calls. to expensive to buy the stock itself but the calls will provide a decent play. this drop is a gift. I would just exercise a bit of patience before jumping in.
At Apple, his most important skill wasn’t inventing new technology but tweaking it.

I finished the entire book, bought one for each of the oldest grandsons (the granddaughters aren't old enough yet) for Christmas. Lots of lessons in human nature and borderline bipolar, humane(?) treatment of others, being a control freak, using LSD and sex to gain insight, going barefoot and doing yoga at work as CEO, forget deodorant, live in an alternate reality. All the good lessons for them to learn. LOL. But, other than textbooks, I don't think any of them has actually held a 600 page book in his hands before. I hope to God they will be interested enough to actually read it.
River,
I think Edison, Henry Ford and many others of their ilk lived in a world of their own and had a hard time viewing the world as did the common man.
They sure have made our world an interesting place.

Agreed billy. It apparently takes a touch of madness to make a genius. Or to destroy the world. (shudder)
Heh, 193 here. I'm with you, except why start thinking at 310? I'm looking for 500+!
River,
A mere 16 months and 170 points ago ! Looking past 500, many think AAPL is going to pay a massive one time div. some time this year to rid itself of excess cash. We can't afford to sell at 500.
There was another article yesterday predicting 1,000 (not turning blue about that one). Im hangin' in for now, up 62+% from 365. Like you said, it refuses to be sold! I don't really see even a big pullback here, there are so many people being advised to keep buying, even at this level.
