It was absolutely the BEST hockey game I have ever watched in my whole life! Exciting until the last second, the tie-breaking goal by Canada in sudden death overtime! 3-2! Two evenly matched teams, U.S. and Canada! And I am a dual citizen!

I grew up watching live games by the K-W Dutchmen and the Toronto Maple Leafs. And Hockey Night in Canada every Monday! And playing hockey with my friends and neighbors on backyard rinks made by flooding the snow by our fathers, and watching the boys play at the local arena.

I have to break out in song! Sorry, I would have sung the SS Banner if the US had won. It was a glorious game. They both won!

I have to agree with you River. i like hockey but dont really watch to many games but i watched every minute and second of this one and it was a beauty. of course i was rooting for the US but i cant say that i am unhappy with Canada winning. it was a great game to say the least. congrats to Canada. the best part of it was that the US goalie, Brian Miller, plays for
Buffalo Sabres in the NHL and Canada's olympic teams coach is his coach on the Sabres in the NHL. these olympics and the hockey games in themselves will do a great deal to propogate interest in hockey after this game and olympics.
