except for the CANSLIM concept for finding fundamentally strong stocks, which there are only specific parts which you should consider, i would stay away from anything and everything IBD. I wouldn't rule out anything and looking at two sites giving the same info but in different context might provide something worthwhile considering.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Here are some sites that offer industry group info...Some are paid but they do offer something of value for free imo....Doug

Raindrop: I just don't get IBD and their 6 month rank. Just seems to me that on Dailygraphs they could offer the subscriber the option of sorting by 6 mos, 3 mos, 1 mo and 1 wk...How hard would it be to program?...not very difficult imo.
I checked the other day...The #1 ranked IBD group was Textiles...But the group was down over 14% in about 4 weeks...Not very useful to traders or investors imo.

First of all big thanks for all this info.Originally posted by IIC View PostHere are some sites that offer industry group info...Some are paid but they do offer something of value for free imo....Doug
I have a subscription to Stockfetcher and I did not even notice that they started offering Industry & Sector rankings
On the other note, I was primarily using Prophet.net but I think about a week ago it was gobbled up by Investools.
Thanks again.
