billy, thanks for all the time and effort you have put into this thread. I made some nice money on your 3X uptrenders last year and beginning of this year until the market became too volatile. Your analysis of your results has been superb and helpful from the beginning. This was a great thread. Hope you can start it up again in better times.

This was a good thread. Gave me some ideas and made a little money to boot. Only 1 of the stocks I picked to buy tanked on me. I really appreciate the hard work you put into it. I looked at this thread every day. Good luck with finding something else. I'm glad you're not doing too badly. I'm also glad you're not paying $60/month for proprietary info anymore.

    End of Thread

After 20 months this thread is ending due to lack of interest and my unwillingness to pay $60 / month for proprietary information.

I've been tracking those that appear on the uptrenders list 3 times for 15 months. In hindsight had I known that 43 of the first 48 would achieve gains of +16% or more it would have made me a fortune. Unfortunately as the market soured only 11 of the final 28 3Xers hit their 16% goal and only 2 of the final 12. Other stock picking methods I've researched returned similar gains only to fail as the market collapsed. Show me a picker that consistantly picks winners in a down market and you've really got something.

By switching my personal portfolio to reinvesting high dividend returners with good fundies (exception to the div. is AAPL) , I'm down less than 6% from my alltime high.........not so bad considering.

Thanks to all that viewed and/or commented. I'll return in the future with a new idea.

13 candidates today. Only 2 had enough volume (50% above average) to qualify. They are KOG, FTK

    Lucavia,
I've still got SIMO as a buy. You got it at a good price and if the market does well you'll get a good return. It has a great track record for sales and earnings but as we all know a stock is only as good as the market as a whole...........90% of the time.

Do you still like SIMO? I got in at 17.88. I hoping for an up kick soon.

None, lack of volume. We need consecutive days , or better yet, a string of up days.
