Tom, I glanced at it briefly. Maybe can find some time later today to fill you in. River

        Hi Tom,

First of all, you need to know that the current "treatment" for Hepatitis C (HCV) is Interferon, whether Pegalated (PEG) or not. I can tell you from personal experience with a close family member that the side effects either way are horrendous. (see pages 3 & 5 of report and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interferon)

So IPIX seems to be trying a different approach. (see page 4 and 5 bottom)
They then talk about that at pages 6-10+ with proteases and DNA/RNA inhibitors as a way to kill the live internal viruses. (pages 6-13)

Page 14 is a graph of the levels of their new drug in "healthy" (presumably not HepC infected people). Page 15 shows the drug concentration and n= the number of people tested. Pages 16-18 show what they hope to accomplish with their new drug. Especially page 18 shows that they are in Clinical Trials Phase I or Phase IIA with their various approaches. Although Novartis has since dropped out of their HCV drug development,
http://www.xconomy.com/boston/2009/1...atitis-c-drug/ , doesn't say why. In the footnotes page 18 they say they licensed their HIV drug (not HepC) to Glaxo.

You say you own IPIX. All biopharmas have the same problem: interminable and unpredictable waits for FDA approval to advance the clinical trials, finding partners to fund ongoing deficits, hopefully great clinical trial results, and finally to product. Hope you are very very patient. This may take a while. However, the need is great. So maybe they will get fast-tracked in the FDA.

        Best of luck. River

River, Thanks so much for your time and effort. I did sell some today. I bought in early December. I look at a lot of charts, one thing I look for is a stock that has gone down and looks like it is ready to go back up. I bought ABCW yesterday, looks like I may be right on it, up 15% today. Good luck to you, I'm always reading.

          Thanks, Tom
