I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Mr. Market,
I don't have a good track record in predicting which one you'll pick, but this time I think I've got it. All great stocks with excellent earnings projections and sales. 2 stand out, NUS and PCLN. I recall NUS from a few years ago and don't think it reached your 15%. PCLN has higher earnings forecast at 30% as well as sales last 12 months +33%. NUS, DECK, and PRGO might all look better to the chartists, but being a bit longer term holder and loving the earnings you'll pick PCLN, right?
Mr. Market members. If you haven't visited Ernies personal webpage lately you'll find some new interesting info on stock picking. I just learned about the Weiss/Hagstrom scale and have already looked up about 50 stocks. It's fast and easy.
Also I didn't realize Mr. Market was using the MSN money stockscouter, another interesting and fun source.
of course, it's because I just sold it for a 15% profit in December. Had I kept it, I could have had 30, though... Would I buy again? Sure! Same for DECK- except this one I sold for 15% profit around the same time I bought NUS (in 2004).
I do like PCLN and PRGO for the services and products they market, too. The only one I'm not familiar with here is AMED... so I'll have to look into this one.
With many baby boomers reaching retirement age or retired .....Rx drugs will be the norm. Go to the malls ........take a look around ...many of the boomers are fat , out of shape basically an accident waiting to happen. Those buckets of KFC and beer by the barrel full have definitely taken its toll! They will be the ones running to the Drs for prescriptions, and PRGO will just keep on rising and making money!
I like AMED, DECK and PCLN equally. I think I would go with DECK after a small correction. DECK has always beat earnings estimates. Their NET income was $74 million for 2008 and in 2009 it jumped to $117 million. That's a 58% jump in Net income in a bad year for the economy. I guess people still buy shoes in bad times.
Steelman
Best, Steel It's time to Grab the Bull by the Horns!

I resemble that remark, bring me the fried chicken and beer, I was told that I would only live once, but I do give, I throw every dollar I make up in the air and what GOD wants he can keep what comes back down I keep.
