anything to get out of the house huh. from someone that doesn't know that much about it i thought it was an enjoyable game from a USA point of view. we had to be happy with the results. i could see where England could be disappointed. Bottom line is that I'm rooting for the Italians myself. Like to see USA win as many as it can but being Sicilian I like the Italians. But good luck to England also.

The Italian side has a lot going for it they play a lot of great football but they seem to make an arse of it in the later stages.If you think our goalies
cock-up was good did you see the Algerians he dived for the ball and it went over the top of his hands.So i do believe that both the US and England will be through to the next round (here"s hoping anyway).

Had to check out Old Queen Vic"s day,apparently its just for Canadians (we had to leave you something) we have St Georges Day which is in April (23)! and over the sea St Patricks day.Personaly i have both days off because its a good excuse to get wrecked at the pub. MUM sounds ten times better than "m-ah-ah-m" because it makes you sound like some old trout, i think you need to drag your kids kicking and screaming to Canada for a month or three to re-educate them (ha ha) lol..

Apparantly the noise those horns make is like a deep humming sound and there are a lot of complaints from many players from all sides, it gives the players headaches and makes them loose concentration: there were approx 30,000 of the buggers at the US/UK match all blowing at the same time.

My wife is a big soccer fan...Every time I go downstairs I start buzzing like a bee...Those horns are very annoying zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!

Today, I read from the Chinese newspaper that someone came up with a genius idea to combat the loud noise of the Vuvuzela. It's a longer version of an earplug with double the insulation in it. The Vuvuzelas are selling like hotcakes and so are the earplugs. What's ironic is that most of the Vuvuzelas and earplugs are made in a small town in China. Chinese people sure know how to make a buck.

offer them an entitlement program if they would throw the horns out. that would be the end of the horns. i think they're disruptive to the players on the field, the tv announcers, and the fans viewing on tv. Ski, Did you know that they threw out approx 20 gorgeous blonds from Holland who were wearing short mini like dresses, i would sooner see babes than listen to that crap anytime!! River thought the same as you a bad feed from the satellite. The girls they reckon were "on mass advertising" for a company called" Bavaria"; they were locked up for a few hours and threatened with six months in the slammer hows that for a PR F$%k UP.Then you have the stewards outside rioting and fighting with the police because they reckon that they have been swindled out of their wages(tear gas as well). Makes for great peak time viewing because i think the standard of football is way below what it should be, it can only get better!!.
